One of the best places to eat in the Faversham and Whitstable area without a doubt. A pleasant interior albeit a little Farrow & Ball plus the usual chalk boards. Great food, an open fire and good service. The wine list is good but it's a tied house so the beer range is very limited. A good place to start... More

We never fail to be pleased with our meals at The Three Mariners. The menu and the staff are superb, as is the ambiance.

Booked for valentines night with my wife of 28 years. A warm polite welcome from a young man behind the bar was a great start and indicative of the treatment for the rest of the night. We were shown to our table which was scrubbed pine with lovely homemade bread awaiting us. The walls are decorated in quirky paintings of... More

We were taken here by friends of ours that had arranged for us to have the slow cooked roast lamb dish for four. We were warned that starters would not be a good idea, that was good advice as the meal was more than adequate, in fact we ended up taking the remains of the lamb home in a doggy... More

The staff were very welcoming and the roaring log fire made us feel at home. We had pre-ordered the slow cooked Lamb (two days before) and were not disappointed. We were advised not to bother with a starter as we would not eat all the dinner, they were not wrong. There was enough for 5 and we were only a... More

We couldn't quite believe that the restaurant was fully booked on a Monday lunchtime, but it soon became clear. A roaring fire, good choice of menus and attentive service was just the beginning. We chose the Walkers Lunch, which at £15.95 for 3 courses, seemed great value. I started with smoked trout fillets, followed by Gilt-Head Sea Bream and finished... More
