We visited this place on our 5th day of touring Cuba. Having sampled the food in Havana, Trinidad etc., this was by far the best meal we have and the chicken was cooked just right. Delicious!

We went here for lunch after a very long hike through the countryside and hills of Topes de Collantes. We sat on the verandah and had a set meal of chicken - we were so excited when it arrived as it was chicken breasts (not legs as we had always had before in Cuba). There was also some salad, rice... Visited as part of a tour group walking in the area and staying overnight. We had a welcome cocktail on arrival after trekking into the hacienda, followed by a late lunch and walk to the waterfall. By the time we got back from the waterfall it was dark. The evening dinner was pretty basic food but OK. There are limited... More

Everything about this restaurant was great! We had great service, very well seasoned food and an amazing house drink that I loved! After a long hike in the mountains, this is the perfect place for lunch. The coffee was also great.

It was an OK meal. There was plenty to eat and it was reasonably tasty. There is no where else to eat unless you bring your own.

We stayed here for one night with our Explore group. On arrival at lunch time we were given a welcome cocktail followed by a light pizza lunch. In the afternoon we did the Melodioso walk to the waterfalls and natural pools for swimming. It was quite busy here during the day as many of the day trips into the park... More

placed in the hearth of Guanayara, Topes de Collantes reservation this peaceful place is surrounded and bonded with nature. Food is typical Creole/Cuban. Pur group had rosted chicken, very tasty and well cooked. It was very tender and spiced just right. Came with rice and baked potatoes. It is a farm type restaurant, suited for large groups, long tables on... More

I certainly did not expect such a nice restaurant in such beautiful and serene surroundings. I don't know what they feed their free-run chickens there, they were so tender and juicy, certainly not what you are used to from our western world supermarkets.

We stopped at this restaurant with our "Overnight to Topes" tour. After the waterfall trek we were offered a selection of dishes to eat. My husband and many others chose the catfish and they all said it was very good. I ate the omelette and had the same opinion of it. They had set bean soup, rice and vegetables on... More
