We had arrived at 6.30 in the morning on the overnight ferry from Melbourne and having picked up our hire car the girl in the office suggested this place for a really good breakfast. It was a really good breakfast. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was delicious and plenty of it. All the other breakfasts I saw going by... More

I'm not even a big fan of raspberries and I loved this place! Friendliest service in Tasmania (which is hard to achieve) and the food is just divine. Arancini balls are a must.

Stopped for breakfast on our way to Burnie from Launceston. What an absolute gem. The freshest produce, ample servings & very reasonably priced. Choc full of flavour. Can't wait to go back. Bought a lot of produce from the shop & still enjoying.

We stopped here on the way to Launceston for afternoon tea. Both the raspberry waffle and crepe are so yummy. They also serve food for breakfast and lunch. Free tasting and sale of jams, chutneys and relishes on site. The pond garden outside of the cafe very beautiful and calming.

Food was ok but overpriced. $25 for scrambled eggs smoked salmon and a couple of microwaved crumpets seemed a bit steep. The staff were moody and seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other rather than serving. Would not recommend.

The $12 special for a soup and a dessert is excellent value and absolutely delicious! The drinks are pretty good too. Sitting in front of the fire is lovely on a cold winters day.

we stopped in her for a 9am breakfast. Food was yummy and staff were friendly even if it was a tad chilly in the restaurant. Open fire was going but certainly not blazing or giving off enough heat. One of the tables asked the staff to turn on the gas heaters as it was very chilly early in the monring... More

Stopped here on our way home from a holiday for late breakfast and really disappointed with the food. Yes lovely chocolate coated raspberries and fruit, however if a real lover of fine quality food I would not recommend. We have eaten here several times over the years and often we get a little disappointing with something, this time we will... More
