Thank you for your review. We are most definitely proudly a traditional inn rather than a restaurant. There is just one area ( the public bar ) which is a child free zone ! Guests arriving without a booking particularly over a bank holiday are...More

I do like to ignore the five star reviews and go straight to the “Awful” ones and chuckle. We ordered two drinks which were exactly as we wished. My wife had a ploughman’s and I had an enormous plate of ham egg and chips. The...More

Thank you for your review. I am always amused when a poor review ( which fortunately happens infrequently) which I have responded to in an honest and hopefully amusing fashion results in a visit and a subsequent 5 star review which I am sure is...More

We booked to have Sunday lunch here after a walk nearby. It’s a beautiful old pub with so much character and warmth. The Sunday lunch was amazing and at just £9.95 each really good quality for money. It was busy when we went but not...More

Thank you for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit and didn’t feel at all hurried - the Sunday lunch ritual should be a leisurely affair. Hope you save room to join your husband for a pud next time!

The Nobody Inn had been on our list of lunch venues for a while and we finally got around to it!. This characterful pub, with low ceilings, wooden beams and old settles is reached by following narrow, winding lanes has a lovely atmosphere, welcoming staff...More

Thank You for your review and your kind understanding of our lack of staff ! We are delighted you chose us for your early celebration. I was a little surprised you felt we did not offer excellent value with roast pork being 10.95 with all...More

Dinner for two on a Friday evening, busy enough for there to be a bit of atmosphere and a buzz but quiet enough to talk and hear yourself think- a brilliant option instead of going into Exeter on a Friday or Saturday. Easy parking in...More

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your evening with us . The 1/3rd of a pint glasses are a triumph - you can try 3 real ales and only have a pint in total. 125ml glasses of wine also make...More

Thank you for your kind review. I am sorry there was not a choice of accommodation for your last minute booking, but we did, it seems, redeem ourselves !! Georgie will be delighted with her name check . And we wish you “fair gamesmanship” in...More
