We all agree this is a wonderful place to bring family and friends for a gorgeous meal. Nice staff too.

We took half term holiday from Norway to the Lake District. We stayed at the Embleton Spa Hotel, but chose to eat, on two evenings, at the Wheatsheaf Inn, across the road. Great fresh food, and family friendly srrvice. Recommend the strak pie.
Lovely clean pub with nice day time views and outside seating. Very friendly landlord .Good food which could benefit from a fresh fish option for non meat eaters. Will return and recommend.
