Well, this jewel is worth the treasure hunt but don't worry, most taxi's will get you there. On arrival you pass this through the Juba ruins to the beach and wow, what a views as you enter the restaurant! The seafood is fresh out of the sea. The owners are hands on, one cooks and the other serves and entertains.... More

Situated on the fringes of the Jumba Ruins National monument in Mtwapa lies this small but delightful restaurant run by Attilio and Aziza. Since we moved to the north coast in 2010 we visit Monsoons weekly because there is no better seafood on the coast and it is a fabulous place for the family with a nice, deserted beach and... More

The Jumba Ruins restaurant is on a unique, peaceful location. No prostitutes around, neither beachboys. The entire environment is beautiful and the perfect background for a tasty lunch i enjoyed with 3 of my friends. Will be soon going back there.

Best Octopus and jumbo prawns we have had in a long time. Above all, Attilio (the owner) made the experience super enjoyable, what a wonderful host he is, he made everyone feel at home.

Situated by the beach when you walk through the jumba ruins is this quaint restaurant...with a very easy homey feel to it. The staff ready to serve you and the food absolutely delicious.. Artelio the owner and great host....mingling with guests and cracks jokes while his beautiful wife Aziza makes the mouth watering dishes in the kitchen. The seafood is... More

Very well hidden seafood restaurant by the beach. You may almost miss it at first try.Chill and easy mood. The owner Atelio and his wife Aziza are very friendly. Service personnel very professional and courteous. Food quality is probably the best seafood I've had so far in Mombasa. Prices though are not the cheapest. Payment done only in cash or... More

The walk to the restaurant is through lush forest and atmospheric ruins which are well worth spending time looking around. The beach is a picture postcard scene of white sand azure sea and lush vegetation. We were greeted by polite, professional staff who made us feel very welcome. Food and drink was served at just the right pace for a... More

Close your eyes. Imagine the perfect, subdued beach spot. Subtle, half high white walls to let in the shocking blue ocean view, bright blue sky and powder white sand, open, high ceiling made from natural materials, simple tables and a few local antiques. The food, fresh from the ocean, bought from that old fisherman in his dhow you can just... More
