Excellent food, lovely setting and great service. We went on a Tuesday evening, so it was very quiet but the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and they had a good range of options. Open fires are well which is always a plus.

The room we had was at the front of the hotel and had a bath. it was very quiet as there isn't a lot of traffic passing by
