Sat at a table in a fairly quiet restaurant. Waitress came out, wiped down tables around us. Reset chairs around us. Totally ignored us and walked off. So we did the same.

Pushy waitress wanted us to have the fish platter, asked for pizza with it being a pizzeria but didn’t do pizza!!! Not good. Rude and crap food.
Our first visit didnt give us the first greatest impression. Waitresses weren't particularly friendly or welcoming and were obviously very stressed and busy. There also appears to be some language issues which caused a mix up with my meal. Another occasion I was told there...were no boiled potatoes after wanting to order them as a side dish yet my OH receievd them with his meal. Prepare to wait a long for your food to arrive. We waited at best 40 mins and on one occasion my food came out 15 mins after my OH was brought his. Food is swimming in olive oil but I'm not sure if it is supposed to be like this. It was too much for me personally, other restaurants we visited didn't use so much. The setting is very beautiful but can fill up quick so reserving a table is highly recommended. Overall the food tastes good and is reasonably priced.More
Very rude waitress and bad quality of food. They forgot half of the drinks and part of food order. That kind of terrace deserves better owners..
Very unpleasant owner. We decided to cancel order after met with him. He started a row when we sit down. We don't know why. We've never been treated like this before
Pizza thin like a paper, without taste, lousy service, waiting too long to be served and then again 40 mins to get food, they even dont know one foreign language, never again come to that place, very unpleasant women who ownes the place, locals smoking...in the closed part of the restaurantMore
We again tried that restaurant this year. We was very positive surprised 😉 Food was as standard before there, but this year food are excellent and owners did great job😉 New plates & service and meals are yummy 😋 We have octopus salad, black sepia risotto...(crni risot) seafood pasta (spaghetti) That meals is for me as benchmarks for good Croatian restaurants😉 And it was really excellent. Definitely I will come back with my friends and familyMore
It was really terrible. We came here for dinner and just set to table and all servise were going around us and ignore us. We set without nothing maybe 1 hour and than come weiter and brought menu, we make order and than we wait...for 50 minutes for pizza. The pizza was not very good, was a little bit dry and from dough was smelling yeast. We don’t visit this restaurant anymore.More
Food was made without love (pasta was not fully cooked, pancetta was dry and tough) and WAY too expensive for what you get. Try another place first.
We stay in August 2020 near this place. Every day drinking beer at lunch (good draft beer) and eat small snacks (some is real nice). Very friendly personal. Few times were for dinner at the evening - also nice. You can try one of the...best food PEKA (5 hours in the oven, made from octobus+vegetables or meet+vegetables. We eat octobus only - very nice!More
This is the best restaurant in Sumartin, we ended up here two nights. The food is delicious, I warmly recomend the truffle pasta. Staff is very kind and welcoming.
Having walked out to the beach in Sumartin we decided to have a beer at the end of the pier. It’s an extension of the Dalmatino restaurant. Our friendly, English speaking waitress brought us 4 large beers. Sat right at the end of the pier...we decided to book a table to eat there that night. Glad we did as they took bookings only and not past 7.30. So we had a carafe of red house wine and then ordered prosciutto, olives, bruschetta for starters. The olives were nice and salty, the meat so full of flavour and the bruschetta was so tasty with lovely fresh tomatoes on top. We then had a risotto with seafood, two grilled chicken breast with Gorgonzola sauce and fries, I ordered the pork medallions with Gorgonzola sauce and Russian rice (red rice with vegetables). Utterly delicious. 3 pieces of meat were tender, sauce delicious and rice so flavoursome. Everyone raved about their food. I then ordered two portions of Nutella pancakes to share. Two pancakes with each portion of light and chocolatey yummyness. 3 litre carafes of wine, a bottle of water, 4 beers and the meal above came to 707 Kuna. Tremendous value given the setting, quality food and service.More
We went twice. The location is superb and the service was excellent. Unfortunately it’s a fact that the food is very average. We were hoping for better second time as we all ordered different dishes but again the same. If you fancy trying you need...to book !More
The location is of course great, but that's the only thing that is great with this restaurant. 3 out of 4 got their meal on the same time and the pizza arrived when all of us had finished our food. The pizza was ok. The...scampi and scampi in sous was disappointing. Fried squid also ok. We never got any side dish to one meal, despite it said that all main course where to be served with one. We ordered bread which was cold and old, and again- recieved it first when the meal was over. First restaurant we tried in Sumartin, let's hope another one is better...More
We went to Dalmatino twice, for dinner and lunch. Food looks good and seems to be made by someone who doesn't remember all the receips, or it is always on rush... The worst thing is that glasses / cups seem to be washed by my...blind grandmother! Although we politely asked the waiter to change them, they suddenly forgot English. So we washed the glasses ourselves to be able to drink. Service is on the rush, waiters are overwhelmed, and do not have patience or respect. Too bad, for they have a good location and great potential.More
