Bolaget is a very cosy restaurant with great reputation. They did not disappoint! The confit duck leg was flawless, although I could have done with a bit less of the cabbage. Everybody was very happy with their food, and we left with full bellies and happy faces!

This is absolutely the "must-visit-restaurant" in Visby. Thats all. You have to go there to find out what I mean. All the flavors were perfectly combined to each other in every dish. Make sure that you book a table from here if you really enjoy good food.

Good beer, wonderfull view at market. A lot of place to sit outside and contemplate old market and St.Katherina old church ruins

We ate lunch here. The daily specials were ok prices but otherwise, it is a bit pricey. Good attentive waiter.

Went with friends for dinner. On the upside, the interior is nice and the menu has a nice variation. Food was also tasty and carefully prepared. One plate came with a single small potato, which just made the dish seem weird. Staff wasnt very relaxed except for a food runner who was chewing on fries as he delivered our plates.

We took a glass of wine in the restaurant's wine hall. Live music, candles and wine produced quite a romantic atmosphere... Popular place in the middle of main square - many wine lovers here ;-)

Perfect place to take a drink before going out dancing. OK food but better for just chilling and drinking!

I had a hard time to decide weather to give Bakfickan a 3 or a 4 star; the reasons being as follow: While the main course (my partner had the Cod, I chose the Lamb) and the desert (chocolate mousse mix with hazelnut nougat) was excellent, the size / portion of the lamb was VERY small and the Foie Gras... Thank for your feedback. I totally agree that the restaurant was extremely noisy this particular evening. It was the first day of the year that we were allowed to serve people outside in the sun. The result was a big crowd already at 4 in the afternoon and some of our bar customers decided to go inside when it got... More
