Typical Fish restaurant. The herring on bread was a nice starter and the fishsoup was both hot and Spice. Situated at Stora Torget.

I love seafood - especially scallops so had to try here. We weren't disappointed. Arrived at 9pm and had to wait about 15mins to be seated - very popular but worth the wait. We had the smoked prawns with aloi - the best I've had. My husband was a bit deterred by the amount of roe under the prawns but... More

I have ever tasted so great fishsoup! I think it may contain a bit of saffran. There were nothing to complain in the service, but the space was guite crumped.

Nice cozy place. Frienly staff and good food. We had herring and smashed potatoes. Value for money is good esp. in this part of Visby. You can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. They do not charge for tap water which is good. Other places the Köppmannen charges nine crowns for tap water. That is so wrong. I recommend Bakfickan.

Bakfickan is most likely the best restaurant in Visby. Great staff, excellent food, great location. The food is always very good and fresh.

Amazing seafood ! Amazing bread whe we waited! Amazing dessert! Amazing staff! Extremely satisfied with both the smoked shrimps and the fish we got served. And I'm really picky on my fish meals, 'cause I'm grown up with fresh quality! The place is a really cozy and nice restaurant.

Very tasty food, good service and medium prices. Not so much place outside. Must to go for sea food lovers.

After a reservation (definitely needed!) we had a fantastic meal here. My wife does not like fish, but even she was impressed and enjoyed her fried herring w/ spring onion butter & mashed potatoes. Small space and a few tables provides a 'living-room' experience. Only drawback; our table was next to the open door and it was a windy evening.

I went there on 2 separate occasions and the food really left a great impression on me! I had the pan seared scallops and their famous tomato-based Fisk Soppa for dinner, and the next day I went back for the fried herring and the seasonal asparagus. The service is excellent and I enjoyed my meals there!
