Had a surprise party done here and we are so glad we chose this venue....staff is super friendly and so professional, food was delicious and the place is beautiful.....I definately recommend :)

I wandered in with a friend of mine on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I had the grilled milk-fed veal ribeye. The ribeye was excellent. I was served by Binita, and she handled everything gracefully, ensuring a pleasant experience....What pleased me was her fantastic choice of wine, as well as recommending a nice dessert. Overall a very nice experience and definitely worth another visit!More

We visit Madliena lodge about one or twice a week. The food is simply good and the service is immaculate. The ambiance is stunning. Relaxing and romantic. If you want a quiet evening with amazing service a definite must try!

We have been visiting Malta for a number of years and now feel we are beginning to know the island better. Much of what you find for food and drink is, understandably, aimed at the holiday market whereas this is more ‘fine dining’ with a...price to match. This is the first time that we have visited this restaurant and we were delighted. The venue is lovely, set back from the main road, with an open courtyard and beautifully laid out interior. The reception from staff was really welcoming. We arrived a little early but were looked after by the Assistant Manager, Bonita, who took care to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious al a carte. Real care had been taken in the preparation and presentation. Ingredients were top notch and the chef is clearly very talented. The wine list is good and staff were clearly knowledgeable but also honest about wines they were not familiar with which, for me, is one of those little things that reassures me of honest advice. We had a wonderful night and will absolutely be back again.More

This restaurant has divine food and great value for money. A unique thing you cannot not notice is that you may order wine by the glass for any wine bottle listed in the menu!! The atmosphere is nice and quite peaceful if you would like...a couple’s romantic dinner as there is a good amount of space between each table and thus more privacy. Last but not least, the service was impeccable by each and every employee. It made our dinner very special and worth going!More

I've been to dinner in the past and had a great experience. Yesterday I decided to organise a private business event at the venue. Madliena Lodge is great and gives you an amazing impact with the outdoor space as soon as you park your car....The service is impeccable. The food provided to the invitees was abundant, well prepared, presented, served and interesting. Highly suggest it for lunch (of course you enjoy the sea view). Romantic and with an atmosphere for dinner. Professional and satisfactory for private events.More

My husband and I were looking for a nice location for our anniversary dinner. A friend advised us to try Madliena Lodge and I have to say we were a little apprehensive to try somewhere new on a night where you really need everything to...go smoothly. Well, it could not have been any better! Our delightful hostess (Binita I think was her name) took care of us right from when we stepped in the door! A very scenic restaurant, rustic almost which was just right for the romantic touch we were looking for. We went a little earlier (kids were with a babysitter) than usual, so we got there when it was still quite light outside and in a way that worked out even better. The views!! You can glimpse the sea through the trees and this lovely open sky. We live in a somewhat overcrowded town in Malta and tend to fight construction dust on a daily basis. So just to get out and enjoy the fresh air was already a welcome change. We shared the Beef Tagliata for our main course and I've never been to any restaurant in Malta that nailed both the cooking and the seasoning so perfectly. Highly recommend for date night, worked wonders for us!More

Went to Madliena Lodge with a couple of friends on Saturday evening. One of them is a little picky (lazy!) about places that offer easy parking and Madliena Lodge came up as an idea to visit again. Well, the parking was a breeze, which is...a welcome change from the usual capital city or St Julians. But I think what really impressed us as usual was the chef. For a group of four people, with both starters and main courses, usually you always find one or two dishes that might be disappointing... well not at this place. Every single dish came out as tasty as the one before. I personally devoured my Acquerllo Risotto in a few forkfuls, it was just that good. You can tell everything is super fresh and that the team in the kitchen enjoy what they do. Highly recommend. Amazing food and yep - easy parking!!!!More
