A good restaurant/coffee shop. See my review for The Lodge at Big Bear Lake. Northwoods Resort has been rebranded and is part of Holiday Inn Resorts (but they have the same ownership and good service).

We visited in February 2016, having spent a week here at the same time last year. What an improvement! The lobby has been opened up and new furniture put in place, and it is now bright and airy. The rooms have not changed in character but there have been furniture improvements made. The only downside was that the pool and... More

We rented the Suite which was a great value. Almost a 1000 square feet , complete with 2-1/2 bath , Jacuzzi in room, 2 balcony's, Pool View Mountain View, Fireplace and oversize 1 br. King . Highly recommend . Walking Distance to everything downtown.

Don't even bother. Asian owned so you would think there would be some pride there but all it is is a $$$ making business for them it seems. No one was there that we saw and we only stayed there because it was close to town we noticed. Had we to do it over: NO THANKS. Funky and questionably clean.... More

Had a wonderful time in Big Bear. Northwoods Resort was wonderful. We only had one problem, the air-con did not work. We told the front desk and set up a repair person. When that did not work they gave us a new room so everything worked out fine.

We were excited to stay here with our family while visiting with extended family who own a timeshare close by. The hotel is welcoming and nice enough so we were happy to be here. Who would guess that the fire alarm would awaken us and continue to go off for waaaaay to long!!! Hard to go back to sleep after... More

We used a group on to stay at this motel in Big Bear Lake. The room was comfortable .The breakfast was included ,potatoes were not edible and eggs were greasy, coffee was good .The hallways were not dirty just kind of tired looking. The general feeling is this place once thrived .It has conference rooms and is really pretty big ,three floors

For the price we paid we were happy with the room, wifi is not good if you are down the back of the resort. Close and walking distance to the village and shops
