The pub was very welcoming - clean, with rustic charm and warm on a cold May evening. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The main menu is extensive and a daily specials board is also presented prior to ordering. The food was very reasonably priced, excellently presented and was very tasty. The staff made sure we had everything... More

With a last minute decision made to go out for a meal, which then turned out to be one of the best made for a long while. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing and considering it then was a long journey home for myself, I certainly was not wanting for refreshments until well into... More

The menu is not massively adveturous but it does pub grub well. A nice atmosphere in a lovely building. I had a burger which was so-so, in a nice kind of way.

Had a meal with some friends and planned to have a few beers too. Menu was pretty limited but burgers sounded good, served with nice chips and coleslaw. Burgers were a good size and looked homemade but lacked abit of flavour - but still as a lunch this was fine, main grumble is the limited selection of beers, Adnams Bitter... More

Dear Sweetbucks, thank you for your review. As you well mentioned, our Steak burgers are homemade and their is a range of toppings available if one wishes.
