Nice view, food good (equal to much less expensive places CLOSE by) but really expensive for what you get. I don't care for paying more for a dinner than I should and this please was super expensive. But nice view.

We booked a 7:30 reservation a few weeks prior to our visit as this was one of the places at the top of our list. It was a rainy evening, so we hopped a cab from the Marriott a bit early ($22USD) and arrived at...6:00. Upon arrival it was explained to us that the restaurant would be catering a large private party that night. While they could have easily turned us away, they realized they didn’t communicate with us in advance about the event and honored our reservation. While they were limited on the cocktails they could serve, we had access to their full food menu. The setting was great, the food was great but most of all, their service is what really made our night. The staff was generous, the large party embraced us when the hired entertainment started! The people here are just good humans and they happen to have a really good thing going - give them a try!More

Very cool restaurant/beach club - various seating levels and areas, from the "garden trees" to beachfront tables and bar - we had a gloomy day so the pictures don't give it justice and yet we enjoyed the views of Cockleshell Bay and of course the...amazing Nevis across the channel. We shared conch fritters and tacos - both were good and my Spice Mill Rum Punch was nice as well - reasonably priced, especially since this is at the very end of St Kitts and everything has to be brought here and this is not a traditional down to earth beach shack but rather a high end place. We have stopped here for a lunch but discovered that the owner actually has his own line of Spiced Rum/Coconut Rum/Gin/Tequila produced here by the name of Hi Biscus - you guest it, he is infusing the locally grown hibiscus flowers with the alcohols and spices - pretty cool products - the owner was super nice to talk and passionate about his brand, very welcome unplanned experience we encountered, especially since it was a gloomy day and spending time on the beach wasn't an option :) TIP: if you plan to buy Hi Biscus products make sure you do it here - the bottles go for $25 all except Tequila I believe which was $40 - all USD prices. At the airport I saw some crazy mark ups!More

We stopped at the Spice Mill Restaurant on our first night in St. Kitts. We were met by Neslyn, the restaurant manager, and delivered to a beautiful table just inches from the sandy beach. The atmosphere and decor were lovely and our evening progressed to...one of our best. The food was exquisite and the service was beyond our expectations. After finishing our conch fritter appetizer, I was served snapper with a crab and panko crust and my husband had the fish curry. Both were spectacular and we ended with the amazing bread pudding and coconut ice cream. Neslyn came back and shared with us a list of all her favorite places to visit on the island and on Nevis. We ended up having a fabulous week by following her very thoughtful recommendations. On our last evening, we returned to the Spice Mill and had another wonderful dinner. We found the island of St. Kitts to be one of the warmest and friendliest we have visited, and we want to thank Neslyn for making our visit so special!More

What a great surprise! Excellent food and service on the Southern end of St Kitts overlooking the sister island of Nevis. French Martini, conch fritters and fish tacos are must dos! Service was great and very attentive without being intrusive. I love stumbling into places...that aren’t pretentious but just great food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend!More

Two superb meals with Roger and his team. First time was the lobster pasta, and falling off the bone jerk pork. Second time round was a superb steak for me and grouper for Ruth. Great location on the beach. Kudos to the Spice Mill for...also providing a greay breakfast and wonderful finish location for those of us taking patt in the Nevis to St Kitts swimMore

Took a taxi from St Kitts Marriott to the Spice Mill. It is on the beach with a view of Nevis. Fabulous! Dale, the bartender, she got us started off right with their own Hibiscus brand of rum in rum punch. Fabulous! Took our time...watching the sun set while Dale filled us in on the brewing of the rums & gin. Fabulous! Then on to dinner; the mahi mahi & shrimp were presented nicely & were tasty. Fabulous! Service was good & friendly and then, Dale reappeared with the owner & we all had a great chat. FABULOUS!More

Spice Mill is a phenomenal gem in St. Kitts. We selected a trip across the island arranged by our cruise ship and loved every minute of the experience. The views here at Cockleshell Bay were by far the most stunning of any of the 5...islands we stopped at during the cruise. The best part is, Spice Mill is situated directly on the water on a pristine beach overlooking the beautiful bay. We were greeted by warm locals who genuinely worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our visit and they thought of all the small details to make it a superb experience. The private beach has plenty of comfortable and well maintained beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented for a small fee. The drinks and food were outstanding! We had the coconut mojitos and jerk chicken nachos and found them both delicious. I had absolutely no complaints about Spice Mill or St. Kitts/Nevis as a whole and will definitely recommend this experience to others. I hope to return to the island soon to keep experiencing this beyond beautiful destination.More

Did not get here for dinner, but sat at this beach a couple of times. Beach chairs rent for $5 each and an umbrella for $10. Nice bar, with a good selection of cocktails. Also, a great view of Nevis, nad a nice breeze blows.

We were staying at Park Hyatt and read reviews that this restaurant was walking distance so we gave it a try! It was Valentine's Day- we made reservations for 5:30pm- as soon as we walked in- they asked if we made reservations- we said yes-...they responded "we're not ready yet". We waited for 10 minutes which wasn't a big deal but no one had a smile on their face and they just looked like they didn't want to work. Our waitress was shorter and a little over weight with curly hair- she was very abrupt and rude. There was a taller woman that was nicer and came by to make sure everything was ok- I should have been honest then- but we just wanted to get out of there ASAP. I wasn’t impressed with the food either- it wasn’t terrible but I was definitely confused with the 5 star reviews. I was hoping to make a second visit there since it was so close to the hotel but will not be going back there purely b/c of the service!More

This place was recommended by our taxi driver. We walked to it from the water taxi from a day trip to Nevis. The staff were friendly and the owner came and greeted us right away. We were treated with a special cocktail recommended by the...owner. It began raining on us (outside table) and the staff quickly relocated us to a dry area. The food came fairly quickly and was fantastic. My lobster was swimming 5 hours earlier, couldn't have tasted fresher. Delicious dessert. Highly recommend this place - should be #1 on Tripadvisor! Worth the drive / taxi to get down to it.More

We went on a day that had little cruise ship activity, it was very nice and quite. There are plenty of beach chairs right in front on the water with a view of Nevis. We enjoyed the view and service up on the deck. We...had a very nice relaxing lunch but the dinner menu is much larger than the lunch menu so only ate here once.More

We were staying next door at the Park Hyatt St. Kitts and walked over to have dinner at Spice Mill not once, but twice on our three night stay in St. Kitts! The restaurant is beautiful, intimate, spacious and relaxing....the service is A++++....and the food...is spectacular! The menu features local dishes that were large portioned, fairly priced and just delicious with a decent wine menu as well! We were lucky enough to visit during Spiny Lobster Season and it was so good, I enjoyed it two nights in a row (hands down the largest lobster tail I've EVER had) and the conch fritters were the best my husband and I (both foodies!) have ever had. Do not miss out on this little gem - which during the day - appeared to offer beach loungers and spectacular views of Nevis!More

Prices are reasonable - a vegan pasta would probably be about USD 10 - 15, from memory.
