Previously Cafe du Voyageur at gare des Eaux-Vives, the restaurant has maintained its high quality level. No show-off, always packed (reservation important and closed weekends!), best quality-price ratio in town, fab service and affordable quality wines. When it comes to food, connoisseurs will quickly understand...what i mean... from frog legs, over riz-de-vaud (sweet bread) in a morrel sauce, over to first choice beef; you will thoroughly enjoy. Lunch menues are very affordableand vary every day to the restaurant’s high standard.More

we used to go to the previous restaurant (les voyageurs) and this one is pretty much similar. Was nice to see the owner and some of the old waiters. This is a typical genevois place, nothing luxury but very good food, and a nice atmosphere....Looking forward to go backMore

The chef was formerly with the very popular Cafe des Voyageurs on Avenue de la Gare des Eaux-Vives. The decor of this restaurant is very reminiscent of the previous restaurant. I was however not impressed by the entree Foie Gras and the Filets des Perches,...too dry.More

The Cafe is under new management, and we had not visited. We are so happy that we did. Stephane, the manager, is charming. The kitchen is run by the former chef of the noted restaurant in the parc des Eaux-Vives. The carte was varied, with...a seasonal influence. The wines were really well priced. It was great.More

One of the best "beurres maison" that I've tasted on my steak and a good steak as well. Filets de perches sometimes from the lake but always noted if not and Aline makes sure that if imported they're still excellent. Aline herself is a charming...host.More
