For the last 3 generations the restaurant brings to life a creole cuisine which highlights seafood. It is a pillar of Creole and Martinique gastronomy. We welcome you lunch from Tuesday to Sunday from 12:30 to 3 pm. We strongly advise that you reserve your table by telephone or email. We offer 10 quality rooms divided into two categories: 3 Standard rooms from the original family pension house and 7 which were recently added to form our Superior category. All the rooms are equipped with a flat-screen tv, a washroom with standing shower, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. Just five minutes walk away from the hotel, the beach at Sinai bay is unavoidable and relaxing. A river bath is a perfect way to help you to unwind. The river can be found at the entrance of the village and by foot is only 10 minutes from the hotel. Aunt Arlette's is and excellent starting point for the two longest hiking trails in Martinique: The climb up Mount Pelee and the walkGrand' Riviere to Precheur

Here we are on our experience at Tpante Arlette's table.
1st point, welcome and service. The lack of smiles from the staff is frankly unpleasant. And yet the Martinique smile diploma is displayed on the wall but it dates from 2005 and we understand why it is not that of 2023...

It was strongly recommended to us, but we went there a little reluctantly given the latest reviews. Indeed the crayfish strongly resembled large shrimps 🤔, sea bream a little dry for my taste. A good but not exceptional meal. We didn't see a fishpond, so we didn't try lobsters.

Deplorable welcome and service... We really have the impression of disturbing the waiters! Never a single smile, the waiters avoid looking at you so as not to have to respond to our request!!! You have to ask 2 to 3 times for the wine ordered to be served at the end of the meal, ask for bread, ask for coffee several times. Extremely disappointed. We waited more than 1 hour for 4 fish of the day accompanied by crayfish. I couldn’t even finish the frozen crayfish because of the taste without mentioning the texture, or the breaded fish... We also waited 30 minutes to have a bottle of water. Fortunately the snags were there to catch up on the meal. For a total catch of 150 euros it is simply shameful. I really do not recommend.

We had known this establishment for many years. We had already had lunch, or dinner and slept there.
Informed of our small event, the director of the establishment, Carine Charpentier, ensured that everything went well, inquiring about everyone's preferences, proposing adapted menus and making the aperitif buffet ... memorable (what a delight that hangers on to titiris!). Mrs. Charpentier had advised us for the distribution of our 6 rooms. Rooms that are very nice. A Jacuzzi, on the "roof-top" is available to residents...Resting after bathing on the black sandy beach of Grand'Rivière, which is a beautiful experience.

Booked for 8 people around 9am. We arrive at 12:20 and leave at 3:00 pm... The restaurant famous for these dishes with crayfish (zabitants) has none. A great weekend spent in the North hiking Anse Couleuvre / Grand Rivière with the Auberge Restaurant chez TANTE ARLETTE as base camp. As soon as we arrived, we were received with great care... The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated using materials from the island. We had dinner in the evening at the restaurant, impeccable service and of course we enjoyed fricassee crayfish, the local specialty!!! In the morning, a hearty breakfast always served with kindness. I highly recommend this establishment

Bofff.....false advertising....big disappointment...a so-called institution...well the impeccable welcome...an infectious smile...a menu that leaves something to be desired...expensive for this which was served...and then cold dishes...indigestible...moreover out of 2 couples...1 couple was sick on the way back....we can ask ourselves questions... Thanks to Rodolph for advising us and serving us with great sympathy and professionalism. In addition, he is a enthusiast who implements recipes for fruit jellies, liqueurs...the dishes were excellent, colorful and representative of Creole cuisine. It was the worst experience I ever had in my life.
I booked the room in the hotel and came there late tired with the tired and hungry child. The guy at the service told me to wait until other service person will finished to make tables for dinner and she was obviously not in a hurry to serve me, or just to give me the key from the room. The guy has already finished his work and therefore was not able anymore to give out the key, althoug he was there the whole night.
After we finaly checked in we went for dinner. We were there the only people having dinner. They offered only chicken. I asked for fisch and they brought me the fish which tasted like it was from last week. They talked it would be grilled and it was hard, dry and made in pan, but definitevelly not fresh.
Terrible place with terrible service, where you have an impression you as a client really bothering and the food is a disaster.
As I said that the food was not good I was called creasy.

Very colorful restaurant and full of nice surprises. The cuisine is excellent with fresh produce, everything is homemade, from the aperitif to the main courses and digestives. The service is very professional and warm. Don't hesitate to take a detour to take a break at Aunt Arlette's.
