After visiting the Tokaj wine region several day we decided to end up in glory our trip. we have chosen this restaurant based on positive reviews. We took the coursed menu with wine pairing and we were impressed. The food was nicely presented and the...taste was to die for. Some of the pairings might need some attention but overall the experience was one of a kind. For sure the best restaurant in he region and one of the best in the country. Thank you guys for making our night one to remember forever. We will be back.More

Perfect duck (thigh, liver and breast), delicious sumolings with mushroom sauce. Very kind, smiling waiter, spent a relaxed evening with two children (ages 11 and 11 :)… Recommend it absolutely!!!

Absolutely perfect restaurant in my opinion. Not easy to take a reservation, and get a place, but if you know the quality of the service, the meals and the stuff, it’s totally understandable. Obviously a fine dining restaurant, so not cheap, but totally worth it....I was never disappointed, and don’t miss any opportunity to visit this place. All time favorite!More

Simply put: if you die, and go to heaven, the official, almighty-approved-restaurant "upstairs" is this place: Anyukám Mondta. In my lifetime (45 years) , I have very rarely - I'd say, almost never - found the interior ambiance, service and food in such sync. It's...THE perfect combination of all mentioned experiences, one that could tried to be copied elsewhere, but would certainly fail 99 times out of a hundred. With a party of four best friends , I had the cabbage soup with lamb and the main course was the perfect crispy veal with mashed potatoes and mixed salad. I've also "stolen" pieces of sticky ribs, "marhapofa" and Margherita Pizza. All unmatched of anything close I've ever tasted in the same league. Chef and staff: you've not only created and served up a true masterpiece, but along with it, a forever-minted experience that'll be impossible to match, but surely will be tried to be passed on to all my friends and business partners through my lifetime to come.More

Although we have had the chance to visit many great restaurants worthy of their renown, it is quite difficult to recall one that had such a lasting impression on us as Anyukám Mondta. Despite the fact that we were in plain and shaggy clothing due...to us being on a hiking trip, this did not influence the attitute of the staff at all, and we were astonished by the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. The food we ate so good that it caused a sense of guilt in us for not trying the rest of the menu. And a huge plus: the place was full, we were in without a reservation and still they managed to get us a table.More

We started a romantic weekend without our sons here with a launch. We were crossing nice villages with beautiful farmhouses during our drive to Encs. The restaurant itself is close to the center and easy to find a parking lot. The interior of the place...was really welcoming and warm and we have fallen in love with it immediately upon arrival. Service was extremely warm, friendly and I enjoyed discussing the food and also the wines with our waiter. They had some special dishes with nicknames which was not clear what they really contain. It was a really good warm up before the launch. The region has some famous winery which produce gorgeous wines but also they have the best foreign wines especially from Italy. I took the wines by glass with all dishes which was recommended by our waitress. I should highlight a Furmint, a nice Hungarian white which I consumed with my main course, a Hungarian fish dish. Everything was excellent, fabulous! We have decided we would go back soon with our kids.More

They have reopened and the food is still exquisite. There were four of us and we each order something different. So, the daily fish, mangalica saltimbocca, venison tenderloin, and duck breast. All were phenomenal. For starters, we had the lamb soup with sauerkraut - good...start.More

I would start with the positive things. The food was very nice and very delcious. The preparation was excellent. There are small portions which is good to raste the starter, the main course and the dessert. It was very disappointed that we wanted to have...tiramisu as a dessert. They run out of it but it could happen. The reaction of the waiter was everyone want to this. BUT no excuse, no proposal, no sorry nothing to minimize eighter/or solve the situation. It was terrible I have to poibt out that rest of the team was great and polite. I really recomend to reserve a place here and try out this place. (For me would be good to have possibility to have a glass of Italian sparkling wine too)More

Consider the town, you could easily not realise a restaurant of this quality is tucked away in Encs. Fantastic food and diverse menu, we had a seafood starter to share and the batter was light, crunchy and full of flavour. For mains we ordered the...Lamb Kofta with pine nuts, which was I was warned by the waiter was a slightly small portion. It was lovely the lamb was cooked perfectly rare in the middle. And the rabbit with seasonal buttery veg I am told was also to die for! Doggies welcomed too 🐶More
