We truly enjoyed Allred’s! The restaurant is located on the mountain at the St. Sophia Station. Weather is never an issue so long as the gondola is running. We arrived a little early and they sat us at a nice window table as requested. The...views are fantastic. Service provided by Casey was friendly, helpful, flexible, and attentive. The menu is a 3-course fixed price. You can either do an appetizer, salad, entrée, or a salad, entrée, and dessert. We did each of those options. Highlights we recommend were the Caesar salad (very fresh), steamed mussels, Bison Ribeye (upgrade charge), and the Rhubarb Cobbler. The tuna entrée was also good, but way too spicy for my wife. She had to cut the outside layers off to enjoy. Prices were very reasonable, especially for such a nice restaurant in Telluride.More

Don’t waste your money or time. Service is terrible and there is better food in mountain village or in town of Telluride. Unless you get lucky and get the table next to the window, then it is like going to a sub-par restaurant. My kids...ordered kid burgers and they came out RAW… not even remotely cooked —- 100% raw… disgusting.More

We liked the fact that the restaurant is located on top of the mountain. The décor is nice, service is great and food was very good. I had elk to keep my choice strictly local. Very good.

The service set the tone from the very beginning on getting us a table with one of the best views of Telluride. Dinner was very good, but what really made it an unforgettable experience was the combination of thoughtful service and magical views! Highly recommend...trying to time your dining experience with the sunset! Can't say enough about the exceptional service that our waiter Shane and hostess Jessie gave us.More

Well worth going for the views and mountain top ambiance. The 3 course prix fixe menu is just OK. The filet mignon is good, sea bass not very good. The desserts are tiny and not anything special especially the bread pudding and chocolate cake.

I was thrilled to take the gondola up one level to Allred's restaurant. Be sure and call to find out if it is for members only during lunch or dinner, but it is for sure open to the public for APRE SKI fun from 3-5...pm. I loved our bartender Eric and the cool straws served with an awesome Bloody Mary. By the way, I don't ski, so my pretend ski adventure was awesome and counted as an outing since I got to take the gondola ! Did I mention the super hunky "trail guide" Alan who helped us poor damsels in distress who actually were skiing??? He made sure the ski gals did not take a lethal trail and lead us to the Allred's bar for cocktails. He made our whole trip worthwhile with his charming mannerisms and wine selections...WOO HOO !More

Came for supper. No view as already dark. I found the dining room to be very crowded and noisy. They were already out of 2 items on their fixed price menu. Cocktails were ok. Food was very good. Probably had too high expectations. May have...been different if daylight.More

My family had dinner at Allreds one evening while in Telluride. The service and food was five star and worth every penny. There was nothing that was served to any of us that we didn’t like, right down to the deserts. I highly recommend the...sirloin as well as the elk.More

Interesting approach to the restaurant - you take the Gondola to the St. Sophia overlook station, and exit there. An entrance to the restaurant is right in the station. The venue is beautiful, high ceiling lodge, with a view over the mountains that was stunning....Our meal was spectacular. I had the porcini mushroom risotto as my main course - fabulous! and he had the marinated Elk which he describes as delicious. We were both delighted with the experience and the venue.More

Excellent decor & view is phenomenal. Food from salad to salmon & veal, to wines & cocktails, to sticky toffee pudding for dessert was 5 star. Emma our waitress was delightful. Don’t miss a chance to experience this restaurant. Make reservations well in advance.

My husband and I had dinner last night at Allred’s. Our reservation was for 5:30 which was a perfect time to be able to enjoy the view before the sun set. We had a window table. There was a 3 course fixed price menu. We...both had the filet and it was very good. Our server was very attentive. We would recommend this experience to others.More
