The decor in this restaurant was fun, hostess and staff very accommodating and pleasant. Service was extremely quick and food was satisfying. We had the chicken pot pie and macaroni with short ribs.

I went in Tomboy Tavern a couple times while I was in Telluride this winter, once for lunch and once Apres-Ski intending to stay for a while. The first trip was basically a fairly quick Lunch/Warm up on one of the few cold raw days while I was there. Just drank some water and had a Caesar Salad. The Caesar... More

Definitely get a Bloody Mary here and sit outside watching the skiers in the winter and the hikers in the summer! Great location at the base of the mountain and the food is perfect for the ambiance.

Came here once on the first day and had to come back every day thereafter. Great music, killer beer selection and a good scene. Located at the bottom of the main lift (lift 4) so gets going around 3 and doesn't stop until who knows when.

I sat and had lunch on the patio and watched the spring skiers. The food was good - not great - but for slope-side dining - plenty good. The service at the outdoor bar was a bit aloof - talking mostly to locals and regulars - but I wasn't buying a conversation, only a meal. For the quality and price,... More

I had lunch at Tomboy Tavern while skiing at Telluride. The decor of the restaurant is nice, but the food was just average, and our waiter was annoying to an extreme. You pay for way more than you receive.

Friends recommended the burgers at this convenient mountain side restaurant and they did not disappoint. Neither did the ribs or pineapple shrimp. We loved the Tito's Rx cocktail!

We had a group dinner at the Tomboy, there were 36 of us and they did a terrific job at handling a group this size. I've organized many group dinners and by far, the staff at the Tomboy went above and beyond in delivering. We ordered from the full menu and folks sampled everything from appetizers, salad, sandwiches, full entrees... More
