A small bistro on the slopes and a great place for lunch. I had the organic tomato basil gorgonzola soup, then we split a charcuterie plate which was very good. The cheese and cured meats were very gourmet and the wine selection was very good. It is not cheap, but it was worth it!

We have skied past Alpino Vino for several years, never stopping, until earlier this week when we decided to stop in for lunch. What a super place this is! We were greeted warmly by the hostess, Sheri, who found a perfect table for us on the deck, with the most gorgeous views all around. She not only offered to take... More

The ride up the mountain was a fun, unique experience. But once we got to restaurant that changed. The 1st eight people sat in front room that was very quaint & cozy, the other 4 of us had to sit in a very boring back room looking at the backside of a stone wall. Wait staff was nice, Wine was... After reading Trip Advisor reviews we decided to cancel our dinner reservation and instead skied in for lunch. I don't doubt the evening snow coach ride to the top would make for an awesome dinner, but I agree with other reviewers that Alpino Vino is all about the views and the outdoor deck. We shared the anti-pasto plate which is... More

It almost doesn't get better than having lunch and a good bottle of wine at 10,000 feet at Alpino Vino after a morning a skiing some of the best runs in Colorado. The service can be a bit shaky (read, slow) and it's pretty expensive, but the food is usually great and the experience is amazing! I can think of... More

Amazing view for lunch on the mountain. Not cheap, but worth it for the gorgeous view and the outdoor European-feeling setting.

I come and ski every year in Telluride and it's always good to stop and have some great food and hot chocolate! It is a very cozy place to hang out and then view is amazing.

Views at 12,000 ft can't be beat, and food and service match. Grilled cheese & tomato soup a favorite, but charcuterie, cheese plate and paninis are all excellent. It is not cheap, but well worth the price. Many visits since opening, and never disappointed. We'd have lunch everyday if we could get a table!

Alpino Vino serves lunch on the slopes but we went on the SnowCat Dinner and it was an unbelievable experience. Take the gondola up to Allred's and board the SnowCat for a scenic ride up to 11,000 feet to the cozy cabin with fireplace crackling and trendy music playing in the backround, not to mention the champagne greeting upon arrival.... Originally a private retreat built on a historic mining claim, this new addition to Telluride’s award-winning restaurants is a quaint European hütte perched near the top of Gold Hill. With hand-hewn beams and furniture crafted from reclaimed wine barrels, Alpino Vino provides a high alpine ambience and is reminiscent of restaurants found throughout the Dolomites of Northern Italy. Inside, a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a wood burning fireplace, stone floors and exposed wood beams, provides a perfect retreat from the slopes.Situated at 11,966’, Alpino Vino offers fantastic views of the Wilson Range. The expansive multi-tiered deck is a truly unique spot to enjoy a glass of wine with its European teak furniture, coveted daybed and comfortable sheepskin throws. An outdoor wine bar offers a spectacular setting for a midday escape. To visit Alpino Vino during the ski season, take Gold Hill Express (Lift 14) and turn left off the lift to ski down See Forever to our front door.Come enjoy the unique experience that is Alpino Vino!
