We were staying at the Tirimbina Rainforest Lodge, and this restaurant was in easy walking distance. We went there 4 times in our 2 nights there. The food was great (Mexican style food), very reasonably priced and the owner was very nice. Make sure to...try the batidos (a not too sweet milkshake) - I think our family tried about every flavor on the menu!More

We had the good fortune to discover the Soda el Kora while staying at the Tirimbina Lodge in the Sarapiqui region. We met the owner Aurelio, a transplanted Mexican by way of Los Angeles (fell in love with a Tica!) at his restaurant about 100...meters from the lodge. Really, really great food at a good price. Stop in, you'll be happy you did.More

We enjoyed a great meal at sunset at Soda El Kora. We watched hummingbirds while the fish tacos with a tart lime(?) sauce and huarache (on fresh corn mass) were cooked. We finished it off with a papaya smoothie. Wow! This is an excellent spot...for dinner!More

The owners are amazing people and great cooks. With a taste of Mexico/SoCal and Costa Rica all in one place. The fish tacos took me back to my San Diego days. We were in town for three days discover the Soda on day two and...visited twice. Thank you, for the great food and hospitality. We wish you great health and business in the future. Our next trip to Costa Rica will include a stop at Soda El Kora! RonMore

Dave at Dave and Dave's Nature Park recommended El Kora and it was great. Small soda on the main road with only 4 tables, but the service is fast and so we didn't have a problem getting a table. The food was Mexican and Costa...Rican. A wide variety of dishes and what we ate was delicious. Would definitely recommend.More

I am dropping this review here so I don't forget it if we're ever back in Sarapiqui. Good food and very friendly people. I left a small bottle of hand sanitizer here and they saved it until we came back the next day, which they...didn't know we would! Their little dog Rex is also very cute :)More
