The food was so enjoyable we are there on three consecutive occasions.
Looking at what other choices there are its no brainier to eat here as what else is available isn't up to much in my opinion.
They do & we tried something called Black...Soup which turned out to be a meal in itself. it owes it name to the Black Beans it comes with also comes with a whole hard boiled egg, chicken, veg & rice.
You don't need anything else after that completely delicious, completely satisfying
& cost £2.50. Job done. Gets my vote every time.
Strongly recommended to go here. You wont regret your derision.
Tip. at lunch time they do an all - you - can - eat - buffet for peanuts.More
The ambiance was very nice. There is beautiful painted murals on the walls and the tables are all nicely kept. However my husbands chicken cordon bleu was deep fried a little to long, but still quite good and my greek salad was nice and refreshing
The food was horrible. I ordered rice with shrimps and it is the first place in Costa Rica where they don't prepare that dish fresh, they just opened a frozen bag with everything inside. A friend ordered spaghetti amatriciano and same thing, the sauce had...a lot of water... The pasta was swimming.
Low quality food and high prices, If I could give 0 stars I wouldMore
Our accommodation did not provide an evening meal so we went into town.
This restaurant lived up to previous reviews and we subsequently returned for an additional 2 visits
All the dishes we tried were tasty and I can particularly recommend the nachos
You have to try the Dahler burger, you won’t regret to break your diet :-P
D e l i c i o u s !
Tienen que probar la hamburguesa Dahler de carne de bufalas, no se arrepentirán de haber roto la dieta. Deliciosa :-P
Stopped by after a river tour for lunch. Very clean and open restaurant right on the main drag
Meets the need if you are in the area. Not outstanding or creative but simple Tico food. Casado, soups.
Espresso was delish
We chose to eat here both nights we stayed at the hotel, partly due to not finding many other local options but also because we were surprised by how reasonable it was, both in terms of quality and price. A reasonable healthy / vegetarian selection....Mains were from around C2500 (small-ish veggie lasagne and salad) to about C4000 for a large ciabatta and chips or a rice dish. Meat options such as steak etc would be more. The smoothies were generous portions and drinks in general also much less than we have paid in many other towns. Staff are courteous and helpful, and we enjoyed relaxed and tasty meals.More
