We found this restaurant on the way back home from fresh water rafting.(very hungry!) , ordered home made flat pasta with mixed meat sauce ( including beef, lamb, salsiccia etc ) portion was really good size and I couldn't finished it, but my husband did. For main dish we ordered mixed grilled meat was just perfect how they grilled.

Ate here a couple of times. The food was very good though it did lack a bit of atmosphere! It seems to be the only restaurant in the village of Palombaro so maybe they don't have to try too hard!

Situated on a hill above the village of Palombaro with views over Lago di Casoli this is a hidden gem. Leo really is the most congenial of hosts, the food is to die for, if you get the chance you MUST eat at one of the Festivals of Food that they regularly host. The local pasta dish Vrache di Mulo... Love this friendly, family run restaurant. We have been several times, always had lovely food, great choice from the menu but will also oblige if something different is required. Lovely fresh fish, homemade pizza and pasta together with a beautiful view. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Arrived not knowing where I was going and was met by Leonardo who quickly showed me my room. The room was lovely and comfortable with a great view of the valley towards the lake and Casoli and Palombaro. The food here is absolutely delicious and plenty of it... beware if you are not a big eater because the portions are... More

We arrived in the dark not really knowing quite where we where! In the morning Jude opened the curtains and was totally astounded by the most spectacular sunrise and views over the hills towards the sea with the mists flowing in the valleys. The rooms were clean and most comfortable. There is a common lounge area beneath the restaurant just... More

Great place, beautiful location, relaxed, informal and very friendly. Food typical of region and lots of it. Staff very helpful and willing to share their knowledge of the area, its cuisine and wine. Will be going back.

Food is always good when the chef patron is in the kitchen. Good for late night meals, when you can sit on the terrace in the velvet Abruzzo evening. Specialises in local food, good charcuterie, home made pasta. Always worth asking what the specials are, rather than blindly ordering off the menu. I avoid the pizza, which is not typically... More
