The 25th Whisky & Dine took place on November 3rd in the Pinte Dättwil. Incredible menu, accompanied by the matching whisky. Each course was excellent in its preparation and presentation and all courses were served skillfully and with a lot of love. Each course was presented with the matching whisky. It was recommended to add a few drops of whisky to the dishes using the pipette provided. The combination of the food with the whisky created wonderful new flavors. An incredible evening with excellent food. My friends and I will definitely be there again next year, it was simply incredible.

Small Cozy Restaurant perfect for the summer

Excellent food & very kind and professional service

An excellent place to go to both at lunch time as in the evening. There are two restaurant parts, both however serve food from the same kitchen. There is many local dishes that are made to excellence. At lunch they offer some 4-5 fixed menus at reasonable prices. The wine list is also interesting. The service personnel is very friendly.

The reception was friendly. We had made a reservation for our group for a birthday party. Unfortunately, the lack of wine and language skills prevented a smooth exchange with the young service employee. The food tasted good, although the menu was rather small and without anything special or highlight (e.g. the fish of the day was identical to the mussel on the menu). The reserved seats were assigned to us in a corner. As the ventilation was switched off or non-existent, it quickly became uncomfortably hot. When we entered, we were asked who was celebrating a birthday, which we answered. Although we spent well over 100 francs per person, the birthday girl received nothing, not even an offer of coffee. I have never experienced anything like this in any other establishment. To sum up, the visit can be summed up as so-so.

Nice little garden restaurant - with some room for improvement

We visited the restaurant Pinte on a Tuesday evening; the garden section was crowded this night. The starter green salad we found to be a bit uninspired and boring. The steak with vegetables, on the other hand, was really excellent. We experienced the service personnel to be friendly and forthcoming, but a bit overstrained this evening; it was almost impossible to catch their attention to order more beverages. All in all, I agree with some other commentators that the food (and also the service) lacks a bit finesse to justify the rather high prices. The back yard of the restaurant with the shady trees is really lovely for a mild summer evening dinner. But for non-smokers like myself, the constant smoke from neighbouring tables spoils the indulgence of the dining experience. It may make sense to separate the garden into a smoker and a non-smoker section. Toilets would probably need an overhaul.

My wife and I had dinner with our Swiss friends at the Pinte Dattwil in Baden. We really enjoyed being with our friends at the restaurant. It was our first time having dinner at the restaurant. The menu, service and atmosphere were outstanding.

Quiet garden and tasty food

We visited this restaurant on a lukewarm evening during the Badenfahrt and enjoyed the quietness and the nice atmosphere in the shadowy garden. The dishes are very nice and tasty (excellent veal liver with hash brownies), the personnel very friendly, the prices are reasonable. Overall a nice experience, we are looking forward to visit again in the winter.

Place to be with guests as well as friends

The place has a long tradition of good cuisine. Also the new Chef,s continued with the good work. You can go for business lunch with your colleague or with some friends for dinner. You will never be disappointed since the food is of a very good quality. The price is right as well. The atmosphere is quite nice.
