Always a favourite after a day on the mountain - the food is very good, especially if you like your meat

Limited menu: sheer breadth of starters not matched by limited range of mains. We felt extremely hurried by the staff, as if turnover was paramount. The food was fine but neither remarkable nor complex - it was of a much higher standard in years gone...More

Never fails to disappoint: delicious, simple food in a cosy Swiss yet chic setting. The Potence ( steak with all the accompaniments served on what appears to be a medieval instrument of torture) is a must . The staff could not do enough and were...More

We had a great evening and really enjoyed the food and wine. Waitress was really friendly. When we got the check we double checked it and were shocked to see that multiple items were rung up twice resulting in an extra CHF 150 on top...More

Great atmosphere, good choice on the menu, top servers. We recommend "la Potence". One of the best restaurant in Verbier! Well done!

We were seated at a table just one foot from the "preparation" table for their "hanging meat" in which they open flambayed pieces of hanging meat with a flaming liquor. The smell was overwhelming and we expressed concern about the open flame. We were in...More

We had a nice lunch of tuna tartare at this casual restaurant by the main Médran ski lift. Location is central, so the view is of passing skiers rather than the mountains, but recommend for a good cafe style lunch in town.

Not for vegetarians, but really incredible steak flamed on a red hot poker, with chips and salad and a fantastic wine list. Still going strong and very busy, so book ahead.
