Sat outside today on a gorgeous wood deck overlooking the Matterhorn to have lunch. Service was prompt and friendly, food was fantastic! Best lentil soup and best tomato basil soup we've had, salad entrees were very good with nice little extras (pumpkin seeds, beets, avocado paste that was like guacamole but not spicy, really good). The Matterhorn cooperated and came... More

We stopped here for a lunch break. Had Rosti with ham and egg on top. Very good. There was a guitarist playing outside, which was a nice touch. Great food. Be sure and give this place a try.

This place is very typical. Located at the far end of the village, it is worth the walk. Touristic, of course, but still heartly and sincerely welcoming. Live music; the holder plays some songs all over the evening!

We found this delightful restaurant on the last day of our visit and wish we had discovered it before! They bent over backwards to accommodate this as a group of a family of four and both sets of grandparents. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service and the food was excellent.

We enjoyed a lovely traditional meal at a very reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the music. We were seated in the "loft" area. It was very small with 3 tables and sloping ceiling. We liked the fact this place was a little out of the way and different. There was a great atmosphere.

Wonderful fondue and a very warm welcome. Dark wooden chalet at the end of the village a very welcome sight after a long walk down from Hannig

This restaurant is located on one of the far edges of the village. It is incredibly comfortable and the atmosphere has a lot of character. The staff is very friendly.

Very traditional Swiss mountain food, with genuinely friendly service. Delicious steaks (for the children) and fondue (for me): great if this is what you want, but not a lot of choice: my vegetarian wife had to ask for a rosti with salad which wasn't on the menu but was also delicious. The local rosé wine was also a real treat.... More
