We stayed at the Hotel Allalin for a week and ate in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and there was a very varied choice which allowed you to vary the options each day. As for the evening meal, we were treated to 6 courses each evening with a choice of... More

We sat in the garden with stunning views of the Alps. Service was outstanding from all the staff. We liked the salad bufet and our rack of lamb (house speciality) was done to perfection and a very nice portion size. This restaurant is a must visit when in Saas Fee.

We have just had another wonderful meal in the Walliserkanne. We are regular visitors to Saas Fee and this restaurant never disappoints. Saas Fee is called the Pearl of the Alps and the Walliserkanne is a pearl of a restaurant.

We enjoyed two dinners and two breakfasts as part of our stay in the hotel and relished every aspect of the experience. The dining room is charming with open beams, carved wooden furniture, and beautiful views of the mountains. The food is imaginative and expertly prepared.

After two weeks of eating delicious, but heavy, Swiss cuisine, we had a couple's night out at Walliser Kanne. We chose it through trip advisor, and were not disappointed. I had the special fish dish (perch) and special soup of the night (cream of celery). Both were delicious and beautifully presented. My husband had calves liver with the burrata salad.... More

We arrived at 14:10 so we could choose from the limitted menu. We chose salad, risoto and club sandwich. It was OK. The ice cream deserts and coffee were good but the best part of the meal was the kind waitress.

I dined at this restaurant twice during my stay at Saas Fee and both times the food and service was excellent. The dishes are fine dining style but the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and the staff are very friendly. Recommended.

How could they make more of this. The hotel is -however slightly out of the centre- on the main street. Just across from the michelin star joint. Could be made into a very hip place with the right atmosphere & chef. So much money to be spent in Saas-fee, and so few interesting restaurants....... Opportunity knocks!!
