Would've been a treat as this is the only Japanese restaurant within a 5 km area, but the price is too much for such little servings.

since Kloten is a rather town small and close to the airport, this is a great place to get fresh sushi and friendly conversation. Kloten has many good restaurants, but this being the one-off, (i.e. something different) it is fun to try and it is worth the try! the hours are limited- not open on weekends- but M-F lunch and... Oishi makes japanese sushi, the traditional way. All the ingredients used are made in japan from wasabi to soy sauce. One very important aspect of the bar is the rice used. The appropriate rice for making sushi is being used. The variety is really big, everything is fresh, not cold and actually really light for the stomach. While eating you... More

I fancied a light dinner and nipped to Oishi for some sushi. I occasionally eat sushi, so I thought it'd be a nice change. I was warmly welcomed and settled into the corner. The waitress was kind and attentive. I then selected a shrimp roll dish from the conveyor and was really surprised how flavoursome, juicy and fresh it was.... More

I regularly pop in for a Maki at lunch time. This is a classical small sushi restaurant. The food is prepared by japanese and rolled out onto the conveyer belts. Very fresh and tasty. More expensive than the less authentic supermarket sushi from the local Migros, but you can't really compare the two. Very friendly and polite staff.

Good sushi in Zurich? Yes, wild salmon from Scotland and fresh tuna from Asia. The dishes are set on a conveyor belt and you pick what you want to eat as it passes. They also have a full menu with apps and hot dishes. Very nice and friendly staff.

Small sushi place with excellent food and friendly staff. Try the Rainbow roll. Probably some of the best sushi I have had in Switzerland.
