The day I saw a most handsome under 30 businesswoman seated in front of a "papet vaudois", I understood how widely, deeply and tactfully things had changed here. PAPET VAUDOIS is a traditional Swiss dish, with leeks, potatoes and sausages. Something hearty, for sturdy guys and hungry forks. And here was this pretty young soul enjoying the substantial thing, presented... More

Glad to see this place revamped and up and running in modern days. it used to look so sad and uninviting but after revamp deserves a visit. Restaurant consists of two parts - "posh" with white table cloth and "relaxed" brasserie part. Service friendly and efficient, good choice of food at reasonable price. Excellent value for money for plat du... More

We live in the area and were very pleased to see this hotel/restaurant has been renovated and brought up to date. We called in yesterday to have the plat du jour, which was Fillets de perches. I very much liked the decoration of the brasserie, the waiter was very efficient and helpful, the meal delicious and very good prices for... More

I went with a friend to the brasserie section of the restaurant and we had roast lamb, roast potatoes and green beans. This place has been recently renovated and the atmosphere has totally changed - give it a chance if your in the area.

This was probably the worst meal, to date, I have had in Switzerland. It was really just a load of bones served in a soup-like broth. The only positive I could give it is that the rösti was good. I found it very annoying that a neighbouring table allowed their toddler to bang a spoon repeatedly on their table and,... More

The restaurant staff couldn't have been more helpful. I was struggling with some of the vocabulary on the menu and the waiter didn't speak English fluently, so he got another waiter who spoke more English. The second waiter insisted on getting the manager to stop by since she spoke fluent English. The manager came over right away and seemed genuinely... More

I was alone during a work trip. personnel was really kind and nice. I ordered entree with shrimps and a special fish dish typical of this lake area, was generous and good. Food not like on Italy but I really appreciate.

Try their lamb ribs with foie gras sauce! the lamb was perfectly cooked and the sauce really made me finish my fries with it. Th vegetables were succulent and it was an overall good dish. The waiter, he couldn't speak too much English, but did not let that stop him from providing very good, friendly service. I am on my... More
