We visit Champery often and always have a meal at Le Nord. As usual the food was excellent and the service friendly. We also had lunch there on the sunny deck just across the quiet road lovely. Coffee good too.

The food was lovely, a good variety including all traditional Swiss mountain food and well done!!! One thing to be aware of - if you do order cheese fondue and there are two of you - unless you want two peoples worth (which is ALOT!!) make sure to make it clear that you want one person's worth to share -... Good atmosphere, the bar upstairs is swish and stylish in contrast to the more homely typically swiss restaurant. generous portions but a little under staffed so waited some time to sort the bill. Would go back

Rainy day. Lunch. Started well with a local ale 'IPA', well it wasn't TT Landlord but it wasn't Lager either. 10/10 for effort but more heart needed. The food was great. 'Baked cheese on toast with eggs on top' cannot convey the warm, tasty and rich concoction that arrived. Go for it. Oh and the wifi works.

We like this restaurant and today's lunchtime visit was no exception. The serving staff work hard but we never felt under- served, the menu is always a bit hard to fathom but the food was excellent. Gravalax salad was cured with beetroot and came with delicious beetroot mousse, generous fresh leaves and plenty of delicious salmon. The goats cheese salad... More

Great place to have lunch or dinner at Champéry! Very friendly staff and good menu options, whether you want to eat typical swiss food or not. I went on a Saturday night with my husband and we both had the beef tartare. For me it was perfectly seasoned, my husband prefers it spicier and apparently it wasn't spicy enough for... More

We had lunch at the Nord recently which was poor. The service was slow and half of the food was poor. My croute au fromage was burnt and the bread inedible and came with ham rather than the egg I had ordered. The frites which accompanied were so hard as to be pretty inedible. I showed the waiter the blackened... More

We used to go to the Cafe du Nord since many years and really liked it. We had dinner last Tuesday. Fondue was excellent, raclette unique, burgers really worth, wine list great and service absolutely impeccable! A real pleasure at reasonable prices! When in Champéry you definitively have to visit!
