Me and my son had lunch at Gasthause Ochsen. We were a bit unlucky as the day menu was sold out. The pork dish we ordered was bit and tasty. Service was friendly and kind. The food arrived after a short while. The pricelevel was normal Swiss. I can recommend this place for a lunch.

We stopped at this place after a hike in Morschach and we were very pleased. We took the chicken wings, chicken nuggets and fries. The wings esoecially were very good, but the highlight was the warm homemade sauce to dip the chicken. One can choose between scharf, mild and half-half. We took one scharf and one half-half: honestly, they were... More

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, well located in the centre of Brunnen. But the best part is heavenly tasting chicken salad. Highly recommended.

Had lunch at the place on our way through the region. Ordered the daily special which was half a chicken exqusitly prepared with their home made sauce. Really excellent! We also had a wienerschnitzel, tasty, though a little bit too oily and salty. Both plates were big and abundant. Service was correct, though the waitress , when asked about the... More

Situated just off the lake which makes it less touristy, ie more local. Wine was very descent and price was excellent. Water is expensive but it is the same everywhere

As other reviewers stated, this restaurant claims to be known for its chicken, but it was tasteless and overpriced. My husband's entree cost CH 18.90 (about $20). For that, he received two small pieces of rotisserie chicken and nothing else. On top of that, when they presented the bill they informed us that they did not accept credit cards! Nothing... More

If a restaurant is going to specialize in a particular food, it should be good at it. This place isn't. It is known for fried chicken but the chicken is so greasy and overcooked, it's disgusting. The sauces are weak and tasteless. The recipe for success here is so simple - rotisserie the chicken (like the Coop down the street!),... More

Bland and expensive. Staff didn't manage even one smile. Their house speciality chicken and chips didn't even come close to our Kentucky Fried Chicken. May as well go into the main square and get a take out from the kebab shop. Food is better, service is better and it's a lot cheaper.

This restaurant is located in an historic building of the center of Brunnen. It is very nicely decorated. Have your apéritif in the river side bar and your meal inside. pore
