We ate here while in cochem as it was recommended by the man at the hotel. We were not disappointed. The service was great and the food amazing. Very reasonably priced.

Every time I have been to La Baia I have been impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. The food had never dissapointed me and it is a high class experience on a moderate budget. In the warm months I suggest dining on their terrace as it is a lovely atmosphere!

My husband and I had lunch at La Baia's to escape the horrible river cruise ship food we had been having for days. We split a margarita pizza and had a few beers. The pizza was very good. While we were eating we noticed other people getting their food from the wait staff and were surprised on how large the... More

We ate here on our last evening in Cochem and were not disappointed. Although it was very busy, we managed to get a nice table on the upper terrace overlooking the main bridge and the mosel. We had the lasagne and the spaghetti bolognese, both was served pretty quickly and was really very good. The prices seemed to be fair... More

Tired from overseas flight, this restaurant provided the comfort food we needed. Pizza and salad! We are vegetarians so German food in general doesn't work for us. The salad and pizza were huge and delicious! A nice beer and wine started the vacation just right!

Trip advisor rated this high which I thought it'd be very good. Unfortunately, it's only okay. The pasta itself, my pappardelle pasta were thick and hard. The pizza tasted like it was cooked in a rush. I see why this could be rated high. if you've not had better than you wouldn't know. Service was average as well.

We ended up here because of the location - an upstairs terrace with a nice view of the Mosel and one of the bridges. The brushchetta al pomodoro we shared as a starter was basically two slices of plain cheap toast with crudely chopped tomatos on top. For the price I guess that's what you get... Would have preferred a... More

Don't be disguised by the entry, essentially a lift door, compared to the nice looking terraces around. Step into the elevator, up to the second floor and what you eill find is a modern, beautiful Italian style restaurant, with a magnificent terrace overlooking the river Moselle. But this is just the prelude, wait till you have the food in front... More

The pizza's are a large size and can be easily shared. Their goat cheese salad is delicious. We might have walked in when they were getting ready to close and so were not greeted so nicely and were told we could only order pizza. There were a few customers still eating and we ended up finishing our food as they... More
