If you're not familiar with the Mosel wines, a visit at the Alte Gutschänke will help. The owner informs you with all the details you can imagine, and you can try several kinds of dry and lieblich wines. In a very nice decorated room.

Atmospheric place to enjoy wine-tasting of local wines, from their own vineyard. Cellar is situated on the road uptown to the castle. You can also have small snacks, and different platters.

This is a really cosy little cellar with a great old fashioned atmosphere. Selection of excellent Mosel wines are great prices. Didn't eat here but the dishes coming out the kitchen looked great.

This place has a nice selection of Mosel wines and a small menu of things to nibble on while you're sipping your wine. It's also a good place to get out of the summer heat.
