I visited this restaurant twice for dinner, once in January with business colleagues, and once in November with friends. The food is real German cuisine and very well prepared. Their veal dishes are great. The main staple of German dining, Schnitzel, is also recommended. Try the Bergbauernschnitzel (with bacon, sautéed onions, and a brown gravy) or the Frankfurter Schnitzel (with... More

We went for dinner here on our first night in Frankfurt-absolutely stunning. Beautiful restaurant! The portions are massive but true german style food. It's run by locals so English is a slight challenge but we managed. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a casual, cozy restaurant away from tourists 😁

It is nice to find a traditional local restaurant that is not too commercialised. The service was great and the local cuisine on offer was extensive. We all ordered different dishes and each one was flavoursome and came in big portions. A great find and highly recommended!

I was there with my boss for a business dinner. I'm not an expert of german food so I follow my boss suggestions. Finally: the food is very good, well presented. You can find quite nice beer choices. We staied outside in the terrace: strongly suggested in summer. In summary it's a place where you can have a good and... More

This was a little bit further out but was a great looking location with a huge outdoor seating. Good menu of food and drink and everyone enjoyed it

We tried paying by credit card, but we were denied this right, furthermore the manager was really rude and very disrespectful in the way he addressed the issue. It is very unfortunate that such a lovely setting has such poor management.

Went here for the second time and enjoyed it again. The place is nice, service is good but the quality and amount of food is perfect. We went with friends and we enjoyed as well the food from the regular menu as well as the specialities. The goose was amazing!!

Well cooked food, a nice outdoor seating area, good service from the friendly staff, recommended for a casual meal in a nice setting! A good place for large groups and there are several large wooden tables outside. The desserts were worth saving room for - in particular the Apple Strudel.
