This is rated as the best place in town and it certainly has its merits. Food is excellent, very nice Faust beer served at the correct temperature and welcoming ambient. However the wait for the food is just too long and the waitress a tick...More
Started with the traditional Bavarian "pancake" soup. Strips of pancake in a broth, not sweet as the pancakes are cooked without sugar. A very interesting taste and texture from the local area! The meal was the seared steak "Madagascar" served with a peppercorn sauce and...More

Very welcoming, thoughtful menu of local specialities in a cosy dinner atmosphere. Nice touches in the offered amuses-gueules etc.
No question, this is one of the warmest ambients I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The rooms are small but traditonal, the service is top quality and the food excellent. Friendly staff, excellent chef, nice little seating area outside to watch passers-by. Unmissable.
