Good friendly service and a good meal.

Had dinner here and both my wife and I tried two different pork dishes. She had breaded and I had the tenderloin. Meals were prepared and presented very well. My tenderloin was over cooked just a hair but the flavor and mushroom sauce were excellent. Also tried a sampler of their beers which I... read more

Great service and an inviting atmosphere just steps from the Schloss and shopping area. The menu is not overly extensive, but I have always found something to enjoy eating, and this is home to my very favorite dark beer.

Your glasses are never empty. Each time your glass is empty, they ask you if you need a refill :-) good local beer

We ate at the restaurant two nights in a row. And regretted our third night choice because the beer was better at Brauhaus. The beer is excellent, the restaurant has a typical German feel we were told by our German hosts and the food was quite good. We did not have slow service, as some reviewers have mentioned. In fact... More

The beer is excellent, the food is good in quality and value but we did find the service a bit slow but then it is very busy. Worth the wait but don't go if you are in a hurry.

Authentic brewery producing some great beers. Standard German dishes on the menu. Opposite Schetzwingen Castle main entrance, so a convenient place to refresh after walking around the gardens.

We had lunch here after our visit to the castle nearby, they had a nice terrace but it was crowded with people wearing special german/austrian looking outfits with leather shorts and dirndle dresses. What might have caused the long wait time, so we had to ask the waitress several times to order our dish and get some drinks. To pay... More

An excellent brewpup with an interesting if not extensive menu. Probably the best goulash I've ever eaten. Get the "meter bier" to have a taste of everything they have (best shared with a friend or two).

We enjoyed our dinner at Brauhaus zum Ritter. A very nice place and a friendly ambiance. The asparagues are recommended. The salads and the burger are very good as well. Resonably expensive.
