Want to go for local food, local style, local wine? The "swollen heart" is such a place. Not fancy but authentic - something that becomes more and more rare. Enjoy the quality wine at reasonable prices from local producers.

Small restaurant offering basic dishes at reasonable prices. Nothing exciting, though. Old-fashioned, worn interior. Not the most flexible kitchen. I had a plate of pasta, for instance, and the restaurant was unable to provide Parmesan or any other kind of cheese to go with it.

Rumpsteak with garlic butter very good. I would most definitely eat here again when in Bingen . Service and food very good
The salad was excellent, the food was tasty, but too much fried onion. It is OK to eat there. For the drinks they made a mistake in our order (they brought white instead of red wine), but they corrected it.
