Over the Edge is a great little local hangout. Good food and full bar. They have turtle and conch as well as traditional American food good for kids (chicken tenders and burgers). The conch steak curry style is fantastic (and is how the locals eat it).

We visit Cayman every year and always make a dsy trip to "over the edge"...we find it beautiful and relaxing. The food is good, not GREAT, but always reliable. However, this year, as before, we requested separate checks. It's just easier than trading money back and forth in two currencies. We were charged CI $5.00 EACH PARTY for separate checks!!!... More

We both had Red Snapper, one grilled and one escovitch (that means with very hot pickled vegetables). The fish was truly fresh and delicious. I ordered with baked potato and would have liked to know tha potato salad was included. Oh well, double carb once in a while is OK. This is the kind of locals place that travelers want... More

With attentive service and good food, this is our favorite place on Grand Cayman. The bar appears to be popular with locals so that's a good sign. We have been three times in the past two weeks having lobster grilled every time. Others in our group had great pork chops and excellent coconut shrimp. Baked potatoes are great and the... More

We ate here twice for dinner during Thanksgiving week 2016. Conch Fritters were best we had on island. Kids loved fried bread and our waiter who gave them riddles/puzzles to solve. Had the grouper and wahoo, both were fresh and tasty. Very reasonably priced meal

We were at Starfish Point (southwest of Rum Point) and found a local family that was kind enough to give lunch recommendations. We had the stewed conch (tender conch, heavy cream, and flour that was almost like dumplings), turtle sliders (great spice!), and the jerk chicken wrap amongst the four of us and everything was delicious! I was starting to... More

The server was friendly. Unfortunately, it was too dark to enjoy the view. The burger was standard. Quotes from my family as follows: The fish fry was "good". The grilled Mahi-mahi was "descent-good". But the veggies with it tasted like they came from the frozen food isle. The seasoning on the tuna was "very good" and the Cesar salad was... More

We stopped in at Over the Edge last week for breakfast while exploring the north side of Grand Cayman. Their location right on the water is unbeatable and sitting on their deck for breakfast was a lot of fun and very relaxing. Service was attentive and quick and the food was delicious. The menu is not expansive, but has usual... More

this is a charming little spot along the water near Cayman Kai. Food is not super fancy, but they do have some limited sushi selection. We didn't venture too far out (Calif Roll) and it was fine. Wife had a burger which was decent, and I had fish...tasted good, but nothing over the top. Had Key Lime pie which did... More

This place is right on the edge of the sea, you can see the reef and just sit and listen to the ocean. Don't rush but relax. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The food was great. For a main course try the Wahu. (Or Queen Fish as it's known) the Lobster was also very good. Would never hesitate... More
