We stopped here on a recommendation from our valet, to get some authentic local food. It was sushi Sunday, I didn’t really want it to get sushi but they did have tempura rolls which sounded delicious, the server however told us there was only five pieces so we got two orders which actually came out to be 18 pieces and was a lot for two people. They were delicious though I’m glad we got them. It is in a beautiful place it’s great to watch the water. I did have to go looking for our server once we were finished we waited about 10 minutes I think she must’ve been on her break or something which is fine But we were finished I want to go.Prices are reasonable my drink was good. Would recommend

We spent the day in Rum Point and stopped here for a bit to eat on our way back to Bodden town. Great views of the ocean on the deck. You will share your experience with friendly birds looking for food. This didn't bother us. Service was very fast, but there were very few people eating at that time of day. I had the fish and chips which were very tasty, but probably not very authentically carribean. My husband had turtle fritters which were good, but not a very large portion. I beleive the price was 42.00 american dollars which was a little high considering neither of had anything to drink. But overall a decent meal in a beautiful ocation.

This restaurant has lovely waterfront dining. I had the escovitched mahi mahi and it was quite tasty...I had never had that type of dish before so I wasn't completely sure what to expect. I guess I had expected a little more pickled vegetables (carrots and onions) on top, but the fish was tasty in the vinegar marinade. I had the Over the Edge Punch to drink. Tasty island drink to keep cool in mid-afternoon. I think my chief complaint was the ~30 minutes from when we got our meals to the next time we saw our server. I'm starting to think that's typical for the island, though. Even though they won't split the check at the onset, we could still pay our single bill with 5 separate credit cards at the register: just tell the server what you had.

We had been warned about the extremely SLOW service but they certainly excelled themselves on this occasion, it took one hour to get a glass of wine and a beer and almost 2 hours for the meal. I had hoped this would mean that we would have a spectacular meal, sadly not so. The expensive Caesar salad was a starter size and they didn’t serve it as described on the menu, had they done so it would have been sufficient. It appears it’s all about total lack of organisation, roles needing to be reviewed and distributed. We were seated and given a glass of water by a delightful gentleman. When we asked him re our drinks he explained that’s he’s not allowed to serve drinks, or even take our orders for drinks/food, that one lady took all orders, and served them as well. He reminded her that we had ordered drinks on several occasions but she has no sense of urgency and there is no rushing this individual. So he basically stands and twiddles his thumbs between giving us a glass of water and taking our plates away hours later (he’s allowed to do that!). very frustrating, I doubt I’ll go back despite the fact that the view is beautiful.

No vegan, no vegitarian food. Will not be returning as I do not want to starve. All vegans and vegitarians should avoid this place like the plague. Just down the road at Rum point they do an excellent vege burger and are a lot more attentive, to locals and tourists alike without prejudice.

The over the edge restaurant is quite unique and your experience is of Island style. I can tell you that you will not be unsatisfied by checking this restaurant out. the food is very good service is average but you will definitely feel the island experience. The menu has a lot to choose from and the food is very tasty it is mostly a seafood restaurant so I recommend sticking to seafood if you’re at a seafood restaurant but there’s also a few local dishes that I’m sure you may enjoy. The location is beautiful you will enjoy the ambience of the waves Breaking on the shore beneath you because you are on a back patio overhanging the restaurant which gives you the feeling as if you are dining on the ocean.

Literally sitting right over the ocean eating delish conch fritters and flakey snapper while hubby had his mouth watering lobster. Absolutely NO negatives about this restaurant as service was impeccable -with surrounding ocean Menu is extensive and prices extremely reasonable . One of the best meals we had on the Island-highly recommend!!!

I honestly can't remember what we ate for lunch, but I know it was delish! We started off with cocktails and then they provided these incredible beignets with butter. We both loved them. As I recall the server was prompt and attentive and the atmosphere very relaxing...even when the grackle sailed over and 'sang' on the window ledge. Honestly, doesn't everything taste better when you're in this type of setting?

BRING BUG SPRAY- lots of mosquitoes. Local, authentic food but some of it was just terrible. We order 5 appetizers and 2 of them came out with the dinner and the other 3 were forgotten about. The crab cakes are really gross but the red snapper special of the day was delicious. They served us a grilled cheese- with no cheese. They just brought her buttered, grilled bread with nothing in between. We sent it back and they just put the cheese on. Didn’t bother to even melt it.

A little weathered and not in a great way. Waitress wasn’t particularly helpful or knowledgable when it came to drinks or menu items. Caesar salad was great as well as the Ahi Tuna Greek salad were very good. Ordered coconut shrimp and was told they were out of it but table ordered it 20 mins later???

We visited with our family. The restaurant's overall ambiance is what you would expect and one of the reasons we opted to eat there. That's the only positive thing. They were understaffed. No one took our drink orders, waited over an hour for food, absolutely no concern for us or whether we enjoyed our food. We had to get up and head for the register to get our bill. The food was the absolute worst food we've eaten in years!! Lukewarm, no flavor, and adding the lukewarm service made it worse. Again, the only saving grace was the sunset! I'm not sure if you blame the owners for understaffing or you blame the servers for their lack of concern.

We saw the bad reviews and still went as the view looked decent. The dinner took 2.5 hours, the last 45 minutes waiting on the check after asking 3 different people. Food was the least favorite meal on the island. I got a grilled wahoo with extra bones, after picking out 5 bones, I stopped eating. Should have kept on driving and went to Tukka. Stay away from the local spinach.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Absolutely terrible service and terrible staff. Wife and I are new to the island, been living here about a month, such a shame that this is the first place we've come across and had a bad experience with. Food took forever, and I appreciate that it's "island time" but wouldn't expect the food to come out after two other couples who arrived ten mins after us and ordered more. When food came, it was cold. Burger is clearly "warmed up" from frozen and so is the fish curry. On exit, not even any eye contact from the server at the till. Just handed me the receipt with a "there you go". After paying, I took my card and said "thank you" and her response was "you're welcome". No smile. Not interested. Not even a thank you from any of the staff for our wasted custom and time. I was so angry when I got in the car and massively disappointed. Will be actively deterring visitors/newcomers to the island from your restaurant, let alone not recommending.

We sat down and no menus provided we had to get up and get our own as waited and waited. No one came to take our order so we ordered our own drinks from the bar. Staff came over eventually and took our food order, no mention of the specials. Our order took a while to come out and my husband's 3 piece fried chicken was burnt to a crisp and inedible. He took this back to the kitchen himself and didn't order anything else. The rest of our food was served but with no cutlery we had to wait another 10 mins for cutlery. My daughter's chicken tenders were overcooked and chewy. The french fries were soggy and cold. We wanted some more drinks so went again to get our own as staff too busy, looked like lack of staff. Can appreciate being short staffed but restaurant should not open if they cannot provide an adequate service to faciliate the restaurant and customers. They should not expect us all to wait hours for service and food. This is the second time in 2 years we have been to the restaurant and it was bad service the last time we went. We thought we would try again and it was worse than last time. It used to be wonderful, amazing food and of course the location is to die for but sadly the service and quality of food has gone down hill.

Absolutely amazing restaurant!! The best Conch that I have ever had, the appetizer of conch with peppers and lime, so fresh and just amazing. Dinner was unbelievable as well, so fresh and all fish cooked to perfection. Dessert was a piece of the best Key Lime pie ever had, so fresh and obviously made on site that day. Best value for our whole visit on the island. Service was incredible, our server, Melanie, was delightful and attentive to our every need. From the drinks to every morsel had, a fantastic and highly recommended dining experience.
