Drinks were lovely but ruined by rude staff asking us not to 'take the piss' after I gave a friend a sip of my drink. We were all over 24 and showed ID, instead of being asked to see my friends ID I was approached in front of my group and talked down to. It was embarrassing and uneccesary, when... More

Monday evening we dined and drank at this great little cafe/bar. Service was good and they do all day breakfast! Happy hour is a good way to enjoy a few ciders!

I have been here a few days ago with my girlfriend and my friends. I'm vegan and I ate a delicious mushroom burger. The place is very beautiful, always with good music and very friendly staff. Surely, I'll come back!!!

Been there few times and since I'm vegetarian I pretty much appreciate that they've got few options to choose from, but the Mushroom Burger is definitely my favourite! Just try and see :)

This is a great bar/cafe to pop into any time of the day. The coffee is great and the cocktails and beer is even better. But the reason I keep coming back is the fish tacos!!!

serving interesting food (such large helpings) by friendly and interested staff I really enjoy my visits here. Scrambled eggs on toasted rye?....delicious. And of course there are many kinds of drinks on offer. All of these can be enjoyed either inside or at street-side tables (preferable in the heat of a Melbourne summer).

Entered the restaurant and we said to the staff member we would wait inside for outside sitting area. The staff member with black hair with the biggest attitude going, moved a couple off their table to join another couple eating. Which to me I felt uncomfortable and had to apologize too the couple for her disgusting customer service. We eat... More

Yellow Bird is a little different to some of the places on Chapel St, but don't let the loud posters and louder music fool you - this place is a must visit while in the area! Always happy with food, with a mix of mexican and standard Melbourne cafe food, there really is a heap to choose from (Good quality... More

Highly recommend the pumpkin beetroot and chicken salad. This is a quirky little place with good service and a nice menu.

Recently took my cousin who was visiting from London here. Great spot to encapsulate the Chapel Street experience. Delicious food and cocktails, friendly efficient staff and great atmosphere. An outdoor table is perfect on a warm night and prime position for 'people watching' along this busy spot. We all enjoyed the food which was promptly served and tasty.
