Visited twice for evening meals when on holiday in the area. In our opinion is the best restaurant in the area. Large choice of excellent prepared foods served perfectly. Just cannot fault. Missing it already,

Convenient location for the above.Excellent dinner enjoyed by all.Oil/ vinegar mini decanter obviously had not been used for a long time as the cork just disintegrated when one tried to pull it out.Meal portions are not for the faint hearted so be prepared.Beer served directly from the barrel with a good selection.Good time had by all.

Stayed at this lovely old pub recently. We had the Lavender Room. Extremely comfortable bed, lovely deep bath. All very clean. Excellent value for money with enormous breakfasts. Be aware that access to the room is up a very old, steep, enclosed staircase. The ceilings are quite low and the bathroom door is made for 15th century people so even... More

Been before and will go again, a very enjoyable meal of which I would recommend their white bait starter and chicken and leek pie main meal and Thai fish cake starter and Lasagne main meal , staff very helpful and depending where you sit can be romantic. You can also sit outside to eat, in very scenic surroundings .

Having driven past many times we decided to have lunch here. We were fortunate to be able to sit outside and were impressed by the very varied menu. We settled on the Seafood Platter which was very generously loaded with smoked salmon, white crab meat, crayfish tails and prawns with a mayonnaise dip and a small but very tasty salad.... More

Was recommended to here by a friend as we needed a restaurant local to where we were staying and where could cater for 18 adults and 3 children. Our booking was taken by phone and we were given 2 tables. The food was absolutely superb most of us had Sunday roast which was great value for money, huge portions, probably... More

Found this place by accident whilst driving by requiring emergency stop almost!! Looks gorgeous outside, and inside is low ceilings, armchairs, very comfortable. The beer is all real ales and really well kept, unfortunAtely driving meant one pint only for my husband. Good glass of wine too. There is an outside pizza oven which is really popular, and the food... More

The wife had Cottage pie and it came with two dishes of vegetables. If you are in this area go here rather than the White Horse in Easton .... More

We had an evening meal this time round, after several lunch time visits. The pub and restaurant is beautiful, and very traditional. The staff are welcoming and very attentive. The food was superb and extremely good value. I did have one grumble, I ordered the fish cake expecting the usual size, but it was massive, and could have had a... More
