Very good food and service but very noisy. The acustic is not good, the music too loud and the guests must raise their voices to be heard.

Short story: great food, great service medium range price Xomplete story: We came to Aleta following a recommendation from a friend. Small important details: the restaurant is located by the Sea of Galilee, with big windows overseen the view. There is another open area. Even...in an Israeli Autumn evening (normal summer every wgere else) the breeze is nice an you can seat outside. We ordered 4 starters (no main course) and shred them: calamary a la plancha, fish kabab with tzatziki souce, Sashimi on Ice and Shrimps tampira with curry sauce. All of the extra tasty. Acording to chef Guy (we met him on our way out) the curry for the shrimps is based on Indian Gram Masala bougt at Tel Aviv Levinsky market an specialy brought for him. For dessert we ordered Mascarpone cream in white chocolate cover and blue berries cream. A masterpice of taste and presentation. Hoghly recomendedMore
Excellent food, great service, good vibe. Original chef dishes, fish are all fresh. Delicious deserts. Highly recommended
Clean, beautiful view, nice design and super friendly staff. Food is delicious, they accommodated my gluten free requests and made sure to only offer pregnancy safe dishes. Great place. Totally recommend for a nice romantic dinner in the Kinneret.
Food was delicious. Service was excellent. The fish crositini and the soup were perfect. Sishbarak was yami and suprising
Didn’t even get to taste the food, their service was so disappointing! We got there with a reservation for a table and while we were waiting for it for 15 minutes the hostess took us to a place on the bar, we explained her that...we had a reservation for a table and she didn’t do anything about it, after waiting for a few more minutes she was already with other costumer’s and ignoring us so we just told her we will go, and she said “bye” without trying to help or do anything about it. We made the reservation a few days ahead a day after getting married and it was just so disappointing!!!More
This restaurant is located on the shores of Lake Kinneret in Northern Israel. It has a lovely outlook & the indoor section has very nice decor. The overall experience was very enjoyable. The menu is mainly fish & unfortunately somewhat limited. If I was to...return there wouldn't be many choices to offer. Service wasnt the best. When I wanted to book a reservation they were not very flexible & I had to pursuade them to book for the time that we wanted, The food was very tasty & we enjoyed the ambience of the setting. A little bit over priced. Only open in the evenings. Parking wasnt onsite & would be a problem for patrons with walking difficulties.More
Beautiful location. Friendly, professional & attentive service. Tasty & appealing food made of freshest ingredients. The Fish Kebab and the deserts are masterpiece. We should surely return!
The reviews for this restaurant were mixed, but we decided to go for lunch. The restaurant is right on the lakeshore and has a beautiful view of the lake the Golan Heights. We started with the anchovy bruschetta, with caramelized onions, anchovies, and arugula, (rocket),...and shrimp on a skewer. Both were very tasty but unexciting. For mains, I had the seafood skillet, a seafood mix in 'beurre blanc', and my wife had sea bass fillet on a bed of spinach gnocchi and asparagus in chicken stock. For dessert, I had the "Lemon curd on a crispy cookie, hints of yuzu, lime, matcha, and vanilla mascarpone Chantilly", and my wife had the "Caramel mousse with crispy hazelnut sablé, hints of espresso crémeux, and caramelized hazelnuts" which was a bit heavier, but no less enjoyable. We arrived early for a 13:00 reservation and were promptly seated. There were very few others there, but by the end of our meal it had filled up considerably. What had begun as a quiet, pleasant atmosphere became quite noisy and a lack of acoustic treatment may have contributed. Our server Shelli was lovely and attentive without hovering. I never once had to look for her, which is unusual in many Israeli restaurants. Expensive is a relative term. For 3 courses and cocktails for two, it came to over $100, which is an indulgence for us. For others, it may be the norm. I would certainly recommend Aleta, and suggest going during daylight hours so as to enjoy the views.More
True local gem! Yes, we've enjoyed the food, cocktails, service, and superb location. Aleta is located on the water. It offers a spacious well-designed, and lit dining area a floor above the water with excellent view. Those who wish to be by the water won't...be disappointed as Aleta has an outside dining area at the water's edge. The menu offers tasty and innovative dishes coupled with a nice bar and great service. As a side note, they take the Corona regulations seriously where, among other things, the staff wears their masks all the time.More
Last night we had a truly breathtaking experience at Aleta. Beginning the night with our waitress Rotem, we received excellent recommendations. Every item we ate was fantastic, from the Red Tuna Tartar to the Caramel And Hazelnut desert. Both Rotem and our second waiter, Gal,...were delightful throughout the evening. We will absolutely be returning as soon as possible, and are excited to try every other dish on the menu!!!More
