My husband and I ate lunch here our first day skiing last week and we had a good, big, lunch. We each ordered a burger and while not fancy, it was big and tasted great. The space is small and crowded, which for lunch with ski gear might be less than ideal, but it was not crowded the day we went which allowed us to spread out a bit. Service was good. I would have preferred being served a normal size diet coke instead of the enormous 6 euro one, but that's my only gripe. We tried to go back for lunch on the 25th but were sort of turned away when told they were hosting a Danish Christmas lunch and didn't have their normal menu. I took intercultural cues that this meant they were closed for a private party.

Went twice. Would have gone again too but holiday was only one week. If you want local specialities, go somewhere else. If you want banging bbq ribs or melt in your mouth delicious burgers then this has to be your choice - superb food, with a proper home-made feel and the crammed seating just adds to the warm vibe. Loved it!

We found this place searching for takeaway and had burgers delivered to our hotel as we were so tired after a big day skiing!!
They were really polite and prompt with delivery straight to the room.. burgers were big and filling and cooked well. The fries were great and still warm and not soggy.
Only 2 things that maybe they could improve.
1. The bun was soggy from the lettuce being wet so dry it well before putting on the burger.
2. If possible take orders by card payment or via a web order and card? Luckily we had cash but rarely do..
but all in all a good experience and would highly recommend

The price for the new year meal was very overpriced. We had to pay 52€ each witch is understandable for the meat because it contained st jacques and other expensive foods but I had the vegetarian course. It was not anything special and definitely not worth 52€. Very disappointed I had very high hopes for this restaurant.

Despite booking in October 2019 when we arrived for our meal on our first night of our holiday there was no record of it despite me showing e-mail evidence to the waitress. We were therefore left with nowhere to eat in half term as most restaurants were fully booked. Credit to Rendez Vous who fitted us in at the last minute.

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Advise to book a table rather than drop in. The manager asked us to come back in 10 minutes for a table. When we returned 9 minutes later, he gave us some excuse and smirky face that the dinners he thought that were leaving decided to have dessert. Even though the table we were promised had new dinners and the previous people that were paying the bill on our first visit had gone. Very disappointed on making us wait to then give our table to others. Thanks for wasting our time.

Booked this restaurant as they offered many Gluten Free options and we were not disappointed. Ribs and Wings to die for, Fajitas were so tasty and the GF homemade burger amazing. Portion sizes are huge and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Hands down … best fajitas I have EVER had! Absolutely gorgeous!
Went here two nights in a row … first night was seamless. Second night was a longer wait but the management went out of their way to make it up to us .. unsolicited… that’s great service!
Not gonna lie - it’s cosy - not much space between tables - but the food and the service more than make up for it. I would definitely go back!

Fantastic restaurant and lovely staff. The food was very good indeed. Cheese burger and fries with all the trimmings and Chicken Fajitas. All cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. High recommended after a day on the slopes! We will be back!

Really tasty burgers and super nice staff!
I had the burger with bacon and cheese. Good seasoning and lots of tasty stuff on the plate. Truedsson the chiliburger the other dat and it was nice too.

Unreal. Unreal. Unreal. The best damn BBQ ribs in the Alps! Everything about this place is a winner, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. If you’re in Val Thorens and you don’t head to Johns at least once… you’re missing out!

Delicious food and lovely service!
I got the spicy wings, I don’t think I ever got so lovely wings ever! And my friends were all super happy!
The waitress were super cute and kind!

The best burgers in the Val Thorens area. Small cozy restaurant with amazing atmosphere and wonderful staff. Special thanks to Annie and Natascha for their perfect service and for being so accomodating. Definitely worth the visit!
