Took my 80 year old Mum in for a lunch, food excellent (as usual) and service great. It's the set menu at lunchtime with a choice of 3 mains, I had the fish which was delightful and Mum had the pork cheeks which she really enjoyed. I have had the boogie burger before and that again was excellent. Will definitely... More

Superb food in a wonderful restaurant. Please book ahead as this place is always busy and deservedly so. Having a simple menu, the freshest ingredients with a skilled chef makes this place very popular.

We had a Sunday lunch there before Easter and the concept with everything on one plate (large, flat stone..) is quite original. Cheese, main course and dessert, all served at once, works quite well. If keeping the concept, the challenge will be to renew the menu, but I'm sure the creative, Swedish cook will be up to it! Good food,... More

One of the nicest restaurants in town. Food is different to the standard local fare - fantastic sushi! The ambience, service and particularly the food were very good.A popular restaurant so best to book

A popular restaurant so best to book. Pleasant ambience - feels cosy. Food is different to the standard local fare. It's imaginative and very tasty based on Asian cuisine. More like fine dining and the price reflects this. Restaurant is easy to find just up from the main church square ; parking area outside.

One of the nicest restaurants in town. Fantastic sushi! The menu is a real mix of Asian cuisine. Something different from the traditional cheese dishes of the area.

We visited for dinner whilst skiing in Samoens and had a great meal. The ambience, service and particularly the food were very good indeed. The menu is quite small in terms of choice (but the quality more than makes up for this) and if you are after traditional savoie fare (cheese) then this isn't the place for you. For starters... Spent a week in Samoens as part of a family group. My wife and I decided to have a meal out on our own and were able to get a table for two at a days notice. Note to all - English Schools' Half Term week in Samoans is very, very busy so finding somewhere to eat at short notice... More

I have just visited Samoens for a 1 week ski holiday with my family during the 1/2 term week when it was near impossible to get a booking at most of the other restaurants. I managed to get us into Le Monde a l'Envers twice for dinner and both occasions completely exceeded our expectations. The aperitif's were quirky mixes of... More
