The terrific servers tandem made the all difference, now retired ; the chefs have been very well harmonized in their succession. The creator was a character with business acumen and talents. The Maitre d'hotel, has to evolve beyond a rather provocative, nose up, bossy model - she/he has an effect on the atmosphere. A matter of taste and standing. Food... More

This restaurant is the best. I order mixed salad and steak. I misunderstood for salad. They served us the seafood salad. I finished eating they acknowledged me but they did not charge me. The taste of beef steak is very great. The texture of steak is so tender.

We were flying home the next day and we came here due to Hotel location. We were not expecting such a place. The Menu is so varied and every course was truly amazing. Honestly worth every penny. We were treated to a free Entrée and extra dessert! then the Chef actually came out to meet us! I shook his hand... More

I was one of nine people invited to a birthday dinner at Le Pirate and was delighted to return after many visits over the years, never having been disappointed. Nor was I this time! That was why I was surprised to read some of the the rather negative feedback lately. The welcome was pleasant and the service was impeccable. All... More

I dined here with a business colleague on a weeknight. Despite showing up a little before they opened, we were seated and served promptly. The menu selections offered a variety of great seafood options. Each course was delicious and well executed. It provided a nice break from the crowds in downtown Geneva, but heading over the border.

I really loved the restaurant lay out and decor even though it looks a bit strange from outside. Nice, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered the 45 euro menu. My seafood platter was excellent; fresh and enjoyable. However, the next two courses were not quite as good. The St Jacques a la plancha was slightly ruined by a tomato... More

A fair value restaurant close to Geneva; traditional fare but of course you are not in Brittany with freshly caught seafood; wait till summer and go to Les Figuiers or restaurant du Port de Chens. Please see past reviews Lake geneva has good local fish - this should be the priority

Le Pirate looks like it been going for a long time. The décor is way out of date as are the staff uniforms. But this makes it unexpectedly comfortable. You feel like your in a place that knows what it is and is happy with that. Well, the quality of the food and the service proves they are right. We... More

This is an extremely elegant restaurant for fish lovers. The place is very quiet and ideal for a romantic dinner or a business meal which requires calm and discretion. The food is exquisite and very well presented. Prices are reasonable for this kind of level. Desserts are excellent as well. Definitely recommended for your special one (if he/she loves fish)
