If you are craving seafood, go directly to Le Pirate in Ferney it's a risk proof adventure! Excellent cuisine by the chef Franck-Pierre and warm hospitality of his better half Valerie attending to the guests are outstanding. The menue offers excellent selection of sea fish and shellfish, oysters, lobsters, crabmeat, St Jacques, snails, and whatever else your heart desires. Great... More

As the name would suggest, the food is primarily fish but one of our party had beef which she said was excellent. There were several fixed price menus with lots to choose from. However, the waiters couldn't remember who had what. It took more than an hour between the first course being cleared and the second served in spite of... More

Have been there twice in three weeks and it's always been excellent food and efficient and pleasant service. Have taken friends for the first time and they loved it.

Great seafood, friendly staff. Well located. However, they do not have ample parking as the restaurant is always packed. Book in advance.

When I really want to have a meal to please my palate and my eyes, I visit The Pirate. I love the Gourmand lunch menu, but usually always order the soufflée au Grand Marnier to finish. The evening menu is a travel through different French cuisines and I have never been disappointed. Every bit as good when you are just... More

The terrific servers tandem made the all difference, now retired ; the chefs have been very well harmonized in their succession. The creator was a character with business acumen and talents. The Maitre d'hotel, has to evolve beyond a rather provocative, nose up, bossy model - she/he has an effect on the atmosphere. A matter of taste and standing. Food... More

This restaurant is the best. I order mixed salad and steak. I misunderstood for salad. They served us the seafood salad. I finished eating they acknowledged me but they did not charge me. The taste of beef steak is very great. The texture of steak is so tender.

We were flying home the next day and we came here due to Hotel location. We were not expecting such a place. The Menu is so varied and every course was truly amazing. Honestly worth every penny. We were treated to a free Entrée and extra dessert! then the Chef actually came out to meet us! I shook his hand... More

I was one of nine people invited to a birthday dinner at Le Pirate and was delighted to return after many visits over the years, never having been disappointed. Nor was I this time! That was why I was surprised to read some of the the rather negative feedback lately. The welcome was pleasant and the service was impeccable. All... More

I dined here with a business colleague on a weeknight. Despite showing up a little before they opened, we were seated and served promptly. The menu selections offered a variety of great seafood options. Each course was delicious and well executed. It provided a nice break from the crowds in downtown Geneva, but heading over the border.
