A quaint little restaurant in Bellegarde sur Valserine. We've visited this restaurant twice recently and each time the meal was delicious, especially if you like Lyonnaise food. Booked for a saturday evening out. Quirky place, great old fashioned decor and setting. Good food, good service, but the owner! oh, la la. Grumpy moi! monsieur had probably not taken his laxative. Still, will go back and won't hesitate to recommend it

The food here is quite good, very typically French with a changing menu to reflect the market. Fun sort of atmosphere, albeit a bit crowded. The biggest problem is the owner, who is rather French in his condescending manner.

Ate here on a Sat night with friends - we had booked and I think that was necessary as all tables full. The deco is like a typical bistro and the food is of the lyonnais variety. One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Delicious food and a wonderfully charming owners make this lovely little restaurant worth a try.

Bellegarde sur Valserine is a sleepy town on the main line between Geneva and Lyon so not many tourists stop here. As a cyclotourist, I always end up in places like this!
