Friendly staff. Excellent service. We had the 3 course meal (Menu Augustine) and it was all excellent. I recommend the assiette gourmand for the dessert course, a nice selection of 4 different desserts.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hosts who insisted on making reservations for us. We were so glad they did, as we watched dozens of people be turned away. The food was excellent, and the combination of appetizers and dessert made it a fantastic deal. Would definitely recommend.

Following good TA reviews we decided to try la Bartavelle. Pleasant enough setting and a menu with good variety and choices. Mis en bouche were excellent, but I'm afraid the remainder of the meal wasn't quite as pleasing. We both had the beef with peppercorn sauce - sauce was good, but my beef was overcooked for medium and served on... More

We had dinner here our last night in "Vaison". We were able to walk in and get a nice table right away. They have several Menus to choose from in addition to an a la carte menu. We each chose the 23 Euro Menu. This included an appetizer developed by the chef and a choice of plat and dessert. The... More

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant and we both agreed it was one of the top five meals ever in our respective travels. We got there early (didn't have a reservation). It was mid-week during early October so it wasn't a problem, but given the quality I would think that on a weekend or during... More

Our first meal in Provence, open Sunday night. Set the standard for the rest of the trip. The fois gras appetizer was killer. Wine from Vacqueyras terrific. Right off the main square.

Maybe I'm a bit odd but I thought the service was over-the-top for this type of restaurant, especially when dealing with the wine.

Chose to eat here because of good reviews but it let us down a little. Portions were large rather than concentrating on flavour and we found service a little slow. Not a bad meal but not a great meal either. Had better in the area for less

This a nice place for couples or groups of friends. Everything we had was great, start to finish. A relatively large list of starters and mains allows you to put together a great meal from four levels of fixed-price menus. With some restraint in your wine choice you can easily eat very well for under 100€.

Thank Robert S
