Great meal

We visited after market, actually as they were just finishing the market. Lovely quiet spot with excellent staff.we had the risotto and the chèvre mousse the the veal pave done to perfection and a saffron creme brûlée and the caramel with salted butter desert. A great restaurant any day

This is on one of the main streets of the market in Vaison (Tuesdays). The market menu has 2/3 variations per course and never fails to please. Indeed, we have even attempted to replicate some of the dishes - smoked salmon mouse with thyme sorbet - for instance.

This wonderful good- value restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. The menu is all in French so be aware to bring your dictionary or ask fellow patrons. You choose from three courses for around 22 euros. The beet chèvre as an appetizer is like nothing I've ever eaten. My cod with zucchini in a tartlet was perfect... More

Superb food, great value, lovely owners. Our dinner was so excellent, we returned again the next night! One of the best meals we had in France. Highly recommended!

Wonderful food on a side street off the main square, but well worth seeking out. Excelllant Bistro fare, and the best cafe creme we had in all of France. We loved our lunch there so much we had to return the next day for dinner, and it did not disappoint. Just two words of advice: eat there!

We visited this restaurant three times during our stay at Vaison La Romaine. Each time the service was impeccable, the food delicious and beautifully presented. I would recommend this restaurant to any food lover. Excellent value too.

La Lyriste is unpretentious from the outside but serves excellent food with pleasant service. We had a superb lunch which was priced competitively. Marie & Benoit run a fine restaurant.

La Lyriste sticks to what it does best which is offering traditional Provencal cooking in a perfectly nice (albeit not fancy) family based restaurant. This is pretty much Provence comfort food. The chalkboard changes daily and on our recent visit we had two great starters (a terrine and a rillette), and main courses of pigeon and pork joues (cheeks), and... More

Gracious welcome, quiet attentive service, delicious, interesting dishes. We were about to choose one of the higher priced wines, but when asked for a wine recommendation, Madame suggested a cheaper one as being a good match. it was perfect! A lovely option for a most pleasant evening out. We'll be back again!

Recommended by our hotel, we ate here twice. The menu is excellent, prices reasonable with pleasant service. There is an outdoor patio, a little noise from the street but not unpleasant.
