We were in town on business and as always trying to find a good restaurant is a challenge. Le Bateleur made the best dining experience. The food was not only delicious it was varied. Service was awesome. Will be going back next trip!

I traveled with a small tour group through Provence hiking between small towns and wine tasting at wineries. We had a free night and the hotel staff recommended this restaurant. It was fabulous!! We had the attention of more than one wait staff (one was either the manager or the owner) and they were more than accommodating with our limited... More

Always amazing, can't wait to go back, a big +++ for the chocolate desert !!! The fish and the pork were also amazing. Also a great selection of wines all over France.

We had the pleasure of eating at Le Bateleur last week. We loved the ownership and staff. The decor is gorgeous. The menu is creative and inspired. The Mediterranean octopus ceviche is delicious. We will be back for sure.

Great meals and amazing experience. Service was personal with the owner (Adriana) and servers making sure we were familiar with what we were getting. We loved the menu passion, consisted in entree + fish + main plate + dessert. Put this on your must visit list!

This was a return visit to a restaurant which we have known for many years. The word "Bateleur" is French for "Juggler" and it seems that this place is indeed doing some juggling as it tries to find its niche in the restaurant scene in Vaison! It has a good location close to the river and a good understated modern... More

Mr SobermanUK, We are just a little restaurant in a beautiful and small Provençal village. We make the kitchen we love and we work really hard to make our clients happy. We love the people, the wine and life. Since 2014 we have our regular customers and we work really hard and good as all restaurants do it in Vaison.... More

This restaurant is a 'must visit' in vaison. Lovely provence food with a modern touch. A professional kook that understands his job, a nice and calm atmosphere with fine wines.

The food is very good but the wait between courses was far too long and the atmosphere - sitting on the "terrace" outside next to an irritating tap pouring water into some grotto thing - was distinctly lacking

It was a busy night in Vaison and this was not our first choice. Perhaps the fact that it was not fully booked was a clue. After an unenthusiastic welcome, our server's comment when I asked for wine recommendations was that she didn't drink wine! That was it. I then flagged down the woman who appeared to be the maitre... We visited this restaurant and had an amazing time. We still think about our meal there and wish we had gone earlier in our trip so we could've returned. The food was the best we had, every course was outstanding. We felt for the quality of the food, it was worth every euro we spent! Highly recommend this gem of... More
