The restaurant has a magnificent sea view on the mugel calanque. The service is great. Stuff are very friendly and welcoming.. The menu has enough to chose from. And an everyday plate of the day.. Strongly recommend.

A small restaurant right by the sea isolated by a calanques with stunning views and delicious food. Great service. Might be crowded in peak season but we were here end September and it was incredible. Grilled gambas & squid, local white wine and efficiency makes...this my favourite restaurant on the Provencal coastline!More

Walking down toward the stoney beach, the curve of the small bay dotted with sunbathers, a short stairway took us into a small restaurant tucked below the road resplendent with a panoramic view of the encircling mountain cliffs, shore, and islands dotting the horizon. The...sights themselves would be worth a glass of wine, or a coffee, while enjoying the sun and salt breeze— but go for the sea food! Perfectly prepared, visually appealing, and tasty! Oh so tasty! I just have to mention the Mussels de Creme, that were astonishingly delicious to the point of being truly memorable. Please know it can be crowded, and reservations may well be in order. The staff were very couples and family friendly. The service is polite, the waiters fluent in English, and service itself is French style — not hurried or rushed.More

We enjoyed our food here and it is just in front of the beach. The daily fish was fresh and the desserts very good. It was crowded like almost every place now in august here. The staff was nice and attentive.

I would have liked to say we enjoyed visiting this place, it’s a cute little beach with a gorgeous view. We arrived at La Ciotat mid-afternoon so decided to stop for drinks and dessert, we were seated fairly quickly. When the waiter came to take...our order and realized we weren’t there for lunch he abruptly sent us packing. We’re still not sure if we were being unreasonable or just caught someone on a bad day but it’s unlikely we’ll return.More

We live locally and always take visitors to Restaurant du Mugel as a stunning introduction to La Ciotat. The food is reliably excellent - fresh, tasty and presented with enthusiasm. The staff are competent and professional, even at the busiest times. We have never had...a bad time here.More

Tremendous good location by the beach at parc Mugel (go first to the top for a good view and some climbing). Unpretentious staff, some shirtless, which goes for the clientel as well. Good sardines and fishpudding a la Marseille. A relaxed and Nice break from...the sun. Cash only..More

I am on vacation and my family got together from all over the world. We had the best time ever, the scenery is amazing. The service for a French restaurant that does not have Michelin star is actually very good, fast and friendly (for French...standard, excellent) ! The food is amazing, simple and fresh fish! Make sure to bring cash because it is cash only! The desert are fantastic as well, for a restaurant next to the water (it feels like we are on the water with the set up) it is a great quality! I highly recommend !More
